I have to admit that OLTL does humor better than most soaps. The scenes yesterday with Langston and Starr acting as a greek chorus to all the craziness around Dorian actually made me laugh out loud.
As for Bree, I find her going from one end of the acting scale to the other, often in the same scene.
I will admit to being dismayed at Marty's return. Cannot tell you how much I hate the whole amensia thing. It is such a cliche.

The scenes at Dorian's were a hoot.

Andrea Evans was appropriately more subdued in yesterday's episode. She's been playing everything just right, IMO.

I thought the scenes at Dorian's were perfect! There were so many new angles and twists revealed by the minute, and I absolutely loved it.

And, I actually kind of like Marty's return. I know it's slow going at this point, but I suspect they are building to a major climax...possibly a showdown between Todd and John. Once she is discovered, all hell is going to break loose. I think the anticipation is necessary, especially with so many other high drama storylines taking place right now (Tess, Starr, etc.) It's setting the tone.

I totally agree. While VERY slow developing and certainly not great yet...I do think Marty's return has been pretty decent. The Tina return in my opinion is far more misguided. At least I feel Marty's return is going somewhere. And I love the fear in Trevor St John's eyes whenever they communicate as though Todd feels that any secong Marty will recover her memory.

I agree Marty's return is going slowly, and while i'm loving Susan Haskell as always i just can't get interested in yet another story where Todd lies and manipulates Marty and makes everyone else out to be the bad guy.

I am enjoying the Tina story, even if it does involve the boring Vega brothers... My one wish though is that we'll see Tina and Viki in a scene together at some point... i just don't get why they haven't yet put Slezak and Evan's in a scene together---i can just see the look on Viki's face when she see's Tina.

Congrats to Kathy Griffin on her second consecutive emmy win!

I'm enjoying Tina's return now that the story's picking up but I'm eager to see Tina reunite with Viki.

I don't like the story with Marty and Todd. Todd has run his course and I loathe watching St. John in any scene. His Todd is just TOO smug!

I loved the scenes with Madame Delphina the past two days. Brava to the writing team for remembering her and utilizing her. Am I the only one who thinks that Jared has a feeling Tess is back?

yeah i think that Jared knows as well... i mean him and natalie can't think she'll forgive them that easily?

But what i don't get is why Jess/Tess isn't more upset at Dorian? shouldn't she be stalking and tormenting Dorian like she did when Dorian ran her and her baby over? That would be a nice use of history too.

Congrats to Kathy Griffin on her second consecutive emmy win!

I have a question that has been irritating me a little regarding the Tina storyline: When Jonas showed up at Llanfair looking for Tina, and he told Viki that he was the Ambassador to Mendorra, she said that The Banner had done a series of pieces on the missing Crown Jewels. Yet, nobody knows that Tina is The Crown Princess of Mendorra? Wouldn't that little bit of info have come up in the research for The Banner articles?

I know its nit-picking, but I thought it might be worth a mention.

Well, if Tina has the last name of the prince she married, they'd have no way of knowing that Princess Tina was the Tina they all know and frown upon.

LOL..oh my word! Nora found Lindsay's letter today!! That was great to see. Looks like history will repeat itself and Nora will be stopping Bo and Lindsay's wedding again.

Good point, but I would think they would have run across some info along the way that would have pointed to Tina.

BTW, LOL at "know and frown upon". roflmao

Yeah, you're probably right.

As a DAYS fan, it's second nature to me to start thinking up excuses for the things that don't make sense. I think I've become much better at it than most of the soap writers are.

I wish Bo would have mentioned to Rex today that Sarah Gordon interrupted Bo's wedding to Cassie when Rex brought up Gigi's interference. I was loving their talk which included lots of historical tidbits referencing Rex's relationship with Lindsay and Clint's marriage to Linds until Bo forgot to bring up the Sarah factor.

I didnt think Nora was gonna stop Bo and Lindsay's wedding today!! I thought she was gonna keep quite for awhile. Exciting!!

I also noticed Gary Tomlin wrote Wednesday's episode. He was listed in the credits as the main writer for the episode.

I loved the Todd/Marty stuff this week. Todd is so bad! And man, I have to say, I find Trevor St. John insanely attractive.

Aspiring actor.

The Mendorra stuff is starting to get on my nerves just a little bit. It was definitely the least interesting today. But this is OLTL, so it wasn't too uninteresting. I feel bad for Andrea Evans. She's been thrown in with the less stellar actors on OLTL (Antonio, Christian, Sarah), and I'm ready for her to shine opposite the older cast. I haven't completely lost interest, but I'm ready for things to hurry along.

And OLTL has given Catherine Hickland and Hillary B. Smith ANOTHER front-burner storyline. Love it.
