And today's cliffhanger Friday, did just that it left many things hanging that will make for another interesting week next week. I just hope Starr doesn't miscarry, as it's a copout to what could be a very timely and dramatic storyline, especially with Todd in the mix.
So the time has come for March to FINALLY leave OLTL and the character of Nash to FINALLY be killed off. I have to say thank heavens for this. When Forbes first appeared in 2005..i was all for it. I enjoyed the storyline with Tessica and Nash. Despite the bad acting on Forbes part..i still managed to be a fan and become a fan of the Jess and Nash couple. Then in the middle of 2006 i was starting to get annoyed at the couple and the character of Nash..and by the end of that year..i wanted Nash dead or sent away or something of the sort. Then in 2007 i have edited out pretty much all of the Nash scenes from my collection. Now word comes that Nash is being killed off and Forbes is gone from OLTL!! ThERE IS A SOAP GOD!! Yes yes yes!! The day i read/heard this i did a happy dance and did a back flip!! No more robotic and wooden acting to suffer through. I am in heaven here with this news!!

Yeah, I agree. There's no "drama" in daytime anymore, with spoilers and previews and all. Melissa Gallo was on FIRE today, though.

Can't wait for today's OLTL. My ONLY problem is Trevor St. John. His Todd is so emotionless. I'm not sure if it's the way he is written or if it's St. John, maybe both, but everything else is firing on all cylinders. Great soap opera in the old time tradition. Strasser has become rejuvenated and everyone else is stepping up to bat with this wonderful writing.
I can't say enough about the writing. What a treat in soaps when you watch an episode and with every passing scene and lines of dialogue you are on your couch nodding your head and thinking..."of course, that is just the way it would happen said in real life"(if what happens in soaps every happened in real life that is). Just fabulous stuff Ron.

I totally agree--- everything is working except for St. John---and yes, i think it is St. John and not the writing---because under Howarth Todd was always a very uber-emotional person---even if more often than not that emotion was anger, greed and selfishness. Just think how much better these scenes would be if Howarth were playing Todd.
Ron Carvalit, you are my hero!

Another awesome episode with alot happening. Blair and Starr were my faves today!! Depaiva and Alderson had me in tears today!! I was so happy Blair called the cops on Todd..and was also happy to see Cole shove Todd out of his way. he should have punched Todd in the gut too. As for Trevor St John..the man has gone downhil playing "Todd'. Time to ship him out. If he cant act better than the crap he is doing now..then ship him out. We already have two hammy performers on the show..JPL...and Tuc Watkins. We dont need anymore.

Yes he is very emotionless these days. If Trevor does not want to be in character anymore..then time to ship out.

I have to agree. DePaiva needs to get away from St. John. She was fantastic today. I could watch her and Alderson every day. When DePaiva is given the material, she runs with it. Too often, the writers don't know what to do with her character.
This could be a great tape for KD. The blue ribbon panels loved strong mothers. Maybe we should bring those back?
As far as St. John I wonder how long he's gonna be allowed to coast thru his scenes? I noticed they keep him far away Sleazak and Strasser. Memo to Ron, keep Trevor away from Haskell and Evans lest you want these ladies to upstage him at every turn.

LOl..so true. Trevor acting has majorly dwindled the past year and a half. And it is not the writing either.

It looks like Todd is about to get a taste of his own medicine:
Todd ends up in a car accident with baby Sam and Child Protective Services will haul him into court. It appears that Marcie and Michael will get the baby back.
