Williamson is so much better playing Tess than Jessica its crazy, although a big part of me would love to see what Erin Torpey would do as Tess. I really like the Tess & Todd stuff. St. John has been doing some really great work since he decided to tone it down a notch. I'm glad that the Todd/Marty story is about to merged into the rest of the canvas.

Not sure Trorpey would be able to pull off the D.I.D story. Her voice is still a bit "girly girly and young". So actually..no...i dont think she would be able to pull it off effectively.

I'd be interested to see Torpey play Tess also. I bet Torpey's Tess would be better than Williamson's Jessica. Considering how bad Williamson can be as Jessica, I don't know if I'd say she pulls it off. She should be Tess all the time.
I am almost just plain tired of OLTL....why would US news groups break into programming for a lift on Mendorran media censorship? Why doesn't Tina just bust into the basement some way like the old Tina would have? Why is Emmy winner Thom Christopher reduced to lying shirtless in bed with another dude?
Did they think of plot points as they went along? Was nothing planned out ahead of time?
The OLTL "renaissance" is dead...a whole 8 months.
The scenes with Delfina from last night were great. She really is acting as a deus ex machina, but I really dont' mind it. I think she helps move plot points along in a way that makes characters seek out their own destiny, which is kind of cool.
I also really feel bad for the chip Markko carries on his shoulder. I never noticed any jealousy from him towards his peers until now. It was nice to see more from his character.

So Tess finally locked Tina and her dog in the secret room. Now it is time to get Marty out of that frickin' bed...find out what Todd did to her and all that stuff...and land Susan Haskell an Emmy nomination.

What happened to this show? At the start of summer it was kicking major ass, but somewhere in July things lost steam and everything has been either a mess (Mendorra and 1968), completely worn out (Starr/Cole drama), or unbelievably disgusting (Todd/Marty).
I hope Ron Carlivati can find his footing again, but I'm beginning to get very doubtful of that.
Also, would it kill most of the actors on this show to actually act? That's part of what's killing so many stories for me - lazy acting.

The acting is lacking at times because some of the cast is paired up with the wrong people. Bree and Andrea....JPL and Farrah....Justis and David...Bree and Trevor..etc.!!

Oh, I happen to love Bree and Trevor! I think they have a fantastic evil chemistry between the two of them. I've actually been hoping to see more of them together, especially now that Todd has a partner in crime. Kind of steps up the story a bit.
And I'm happy to be seeing more Langston. I kind of like a larger storyline for her. Always been a fan.

Oh my word!! Marty and Todd kissed? Yikes!! That was shocking and uncomfortable to watch. If there isnt a HUGE payoff reaction for Susan Haskell when Marty finds out about Todd...i will be LIVID!! Haskell can win an Emmy with scenes like that!!

I know this is going to be unpopular and I don’t care, but I think this Marty/Todd thing works. They have chemistry, and the whole history aside, I think what Ron is trying to do is tell the story of them minus the rape, but once Marty gets her memory back, the s.h.i.t. will hit the fan. And all I see this as really is a build up to an explosive storyline that will set of a chain of events that could go whether good or bad for OLTL. As of right now I am still loving the show.

With him blackmailing Starr's doctor, it's obvious he's going to pull a stunt to make her believe her child is dead. Something he already did to Blair!
The character has run his course. Enough is enough!
