What the hell was this crap on my screen today...I had a LOL moment when Starr grabbed the mic and jumped onto the stage at the "orientation"....I don't know what has happened to Kristen Alderson but wow....that monologue was horrible
I think it will please a lot of people, though. It teaches a lesson, and I think it will make many happy to see the teen pregnancy plot is taken seriously.
One thing I am confused about in the Ray scenes, though. Did Clint honestly think that Dorian wouldn't be able to research Ray's past? Wouldn't she have equally as much money and resources to find out who he really is?

Mark Lawson is a terrific actor. Very impressive lately..and HOT as well!! Damn!!
Bree Williamson needs to be recast with someone else. Maybe it is time to bring back Erin Torpey who has matured both in voice and her physical look now.
Robin Strasser better be up for an Emmy next year!! How she continues to get overlooked is beyond me. But then again..OLTL always seems to get overlooked in the acting department. Her scenes with Britney Underwood are sensational and so natural.
Kristen Alderson is backseat to Britney Underwood in the acting department.Underwood shines a hell of alot more than Alderson.

Did I notice a slight flirtation between Starr and Markko? I mean, I know it's unlikely, but when he was complimenting her on being so funny...it sounded like it to me!
I'm really liking Bree now that she's on to the Jared seduction portion of Tess' plan. She's sexual and we see flashes of Jess. I have to say, I'm enjoying her!

Farah Fath is teeth grinding to watch!! This girl is so lame in the acting department. Her emotional and stressful scenes come off as fake and robotic..and also over the top and campy!! Send her back to Days please. She fits right in there with that campy/over the top cast!!

Both Fath and Bree Williamson are hammy, over the top, and campy these days. I like Fath is her calm natural scenes. But when it calls for emotion and high drama...the girl is the PITS!! I hear you on what u say about Bree too. At times she is over the top..but she is still great in other moments. As for the Days cast..well it is true i think. That soap and its cast are ..um..lets just say..."one of a kind".

Robin Strasser, Andrea Evans and Brittany Underwood are the only reasons I tune into OLTL these days.
It's time for Starr to have that damn baby. The storyline is the pits along with that foolishness with Marty and Todd. And I just cannot buy Jerry Ver Dorn as Clint.

One of a kind, HA! I know we disagree on the caliber of the DAYS cast, which is fine. I agree with you on Farah Fath. She had her moments, and I think she's good at playing character, but often in high emotion she can fall flat or come off as completely ridiculous.
Thursday 9/25 episode was actually good! Strasser was great in the courtroom scenes as was Underwood. Alderson again though, bringing things down with her pouty half smiles and "Annie...the sun will come out tomorrow" lower lip...
Not diggin A Martinez though...really emotionless and that phony accent...blah...
Mark Lawson really is a find for OLTL so they better not write him off!
I think the Sept. 25 episode has to be one for Emmy competition. The writing so tight-each scene contrasting or connecting emotionally to the other one. And throw in the light but moving Carlotta's kitchen scenes and you a beautifully written episode. This has to be one for Straser's Emmy reel and Mark Lawson's too. His Brody has so many layers and Lawson is playing each and every one of them. Those of you who have begun attacking Ron Carlivati just have to look at the Brody character to see why Carlivati not only knows what he's doing but is doing it in spades. Brody appeared at a crucial time in the Rex and Adriana story and we got that: we saw his arrival long before he actually arrived. But then this character has gone way beyond a one note one to a complex and compelling one. That's a hallmark of a skilled writer who knows what to do with his characters. Brody's story is gripping and its made the other characters in his orbit that much more compelling too. This is complex writing for a complicated character and its taken many months for that to unfold. That's the essence of successful story writing, all the more important for great soap writing. Brody's story and its ongoing ramification for many other characters is why soaps have been around all these decades. Carlivati hasn't dumbed down his characters or his story. This is a writer with cajones. However, if the ratings start to tank in the coming weeks then we know that people want cartoons and ridiculous characters and that the soap genre that was once a proud one, has died; not in a Carlo Hesser way, but truly dead. That will be a compelling story with a very sad ending.
So far out of the OLTL cast...Robin Strasser and Britney Underwood are 2 of the most deserving of an Emmy nomination. I hope they both recieve them. They floor me everytime.

Did anyone catch the conversation between Todd and the woman taking care of Marty? She mentioned that she has a daughter, and she is estranged from her family. I wonder who her daughter is and if it is someone already on the canvas. My interest was particularly piqued when the woman saw Todd's picture of Viki. They had an entire conversation around the fact that the woman is estranged from her family...I would like to think that that kernel of information wasn't just thrown out there for nothing.
Do you think her daughter could possible be Tea? It would definitely throw Tea back into Todd's life if his nurse is her mother. I'm unaware if there was any mention of Tea's parents earlier, and I am not sure what that would have to do with Viki, but I think it could be an interesting twist!

It might very well be Tea!! I forgot all about her upcoming return. I've been trying to remember information about Tea's background (a character I L-OVE, by the way), but I can't remember much. I vaguely remember that she has some type of history with Carlotta...
At any rate, that would be a very interesting twist. I guess my only problem would be that we don't know very much about Marty's nurse (she doesn't seem very interesting right now...but that could always change).

I don't think Tea and Carlotta were relatives, as Tea's niece Roseanne was married to Cristian Vega....just family friends maybe?
Also I liked how they brouhgt up Rex's paternity again...I have it down between Mitch Laurence and Cain Rogan....(since Cain is coming back this fall)
