Am I the only one who recognizes Marty's nurse Janet as the same actress who played Lee Halprem in the 80's and was somehow mixed up with Michael Grande, Gabrielle Medina and briefly had a fling with Max Holden before he was paired with Megan Gordan? I know that seems to be the same actress. If Ron knows this could he be tying this character to Llanview history. I did notice her show some subtext in her talks with Todd also that implied she knew Viki and had possible ties in town. It would be nice if we're getting an onslaught of new secrets developing. I also agree that and have long thought Mitch Lawrence was Rex's father.

LOve seeing Melissa FUmero back on my screen. Loved how Adriana told off Gigi. I hope there is a catfight soon.

Wow!! The Todd and Marty "romance" has sure got me squirming. I cant wait till Marty remembers everything..and she unleashes on Todd. Hope she kills him!!

The show seems to be improving lately. The whole Vega family is pretty dull though. I don't care about Vanessa and Lola either. If they were going to bring on more minorites, why couldn't they be black or asian?

It's nice to see Marty outside! She's regaining her strength and John is hot on the trail. It's really heating up, IMO.

As for Adriana, I really liked her scenes today. I think she did a great job. I liked seeing her try to cope with the idea that Rex might need Gigi more than her. Then Roxie came in stirring up trouble. I like seeing more of her too!

Ah huh. My memory did not decieve me...or Ron. We have all been very critical of him of late...but here is a prime example of how well Ron uses history. What a great idea and execution with the character of Janet/Lee.

OLTL was killer yesterday....LOVED the use of history with Janet/Lee...I hope they delve more into why she's back...I also need to do some research cause I had no idea she was such a "bad" character!
I could even stomach the Nat/Jared/Tess scenes...weak point for me was Tina....Mrs. Crane was back when she though Cain was dead, massaging his legs, etc. Camp, camp, camp....
Gotta say that I am beginning to see why Ron is writing this "rapemance" story. The scene of Marty and her journal, I felt just so much for her and her hurt and her longing for love. Oh boy, when Marty's memory comes back.....I see no other way to end this than to have Todd dead

OLTL is really picking up thse days. Most of the storylines have moved forward. When Starr has her baby and Marty regains her memory, I expect there will be a lot of interesting plot developments. It is great to have Viki back. I hope Adriana sticks around.

FYI...a little background on the character of Lee Halpern/Nurse Janet....she was a minor character from 1987-1988.

Lee showed up around the same time that Tina and Max Holden were lovers in 1987 (right after Tina showed up alive having gone over the waterfall.) Max realized that Tina would always love Cord and tried to forget about her. He began a torrid affair with older businesswoman Lee Halpern who was a con artist, trying to open a branch of her shell company Dyna-woman in Llanview. Lee was the fake name though of Carol Dennison, presumed dead wife of Tom Dennison (Joe Reilly's identical twin brother/Viki's brother-in-law) and the mother of the virginal Mari Lynn Dennison. Lee had no idea her family was in Llanview and was found out. She tried to reconcile with her daughter who was bitter towards the woman she believed died in a car wreck years earlier. It was also due to Lee that her good friend Renee Divine showed up in town. That was when Renee and Asa reconciled after all those years apart. Lee menawhile, realized that Max only loved Tina and she married Charles Sanders, who died making love to her on their wedding night.

In 1988, more secrets came to light as Mari Lynn learned that her mother was formerly a prostitute and Donald Lamarr was a former john. Mari Lynn lost it and accidentally shot Lee and "killed" her. Mari Lynn was put on trial for murder but remembered that she was trying to kill Lamarr who was attacking her mother.

So it looks as if Lee didn't die, and once again faked her death.....

Oh I LOVE the connection! If she's "bad" then it explains why she has never really taken issue with the Todd/Marty situation. But what ultimately would she be back for? Other than Tina, who could she be connected to in Llanview presently?

She has a relationship with Renee and in a strange way, Viki (She is the mother of Viki's neice by marriage)

I've read the rumors that Roscoe Born is coming back as Mitch....Mitch once had Lee/Janet's daughter Mari Lynn as a cult follower and brainwashed her. Maybe's that's an angle it could take (although Lee/Janet would never win mother of the year.) As of now I wonder if she's going to fade away after the Todd/Marty thing is over with.

What’s airing now wouldn’t be eligible for Younger Actress (She turned 26 in August and if the Guest acting categories would've happened she would've been a contender), but the stuff earlier is (Wedding and Separation episodes). If she wanted to go Supporting then she could submit the episodes currently airing.

Well JPL pulled off a Younger Actor Prenom when he was 26..so i think it could happen again.I think Fumero has a better chance in Younger..so i hope it happens for her.

So if Mitch might be returning, are we more convinced HE is Rex's father? I'm actually intrigued to see how the father will be revealed. I hope it's an extremely dramatic announcement by the man of the hour. If not, what else would Mitch be doing back?

Today's episode was good and Farah Fath has an Emmy tape. The scenes of Gigi and Rex were great.

OFFICIALLY OFF THE KOOL-AID

After the night of "love", the comments by many of the poster on many sites, and a Podcast later I'm on team w/the majority saying that this is awful. It's not making me stop watching the show or the scenes, but I am now disgusted since I put things into perspective. There's not going to be a pay off (not the one I'm thinking anyways) and they have ruin the character of Todd for many ppl (not for me) and dismantle a very important part of the show's history. And all of this lies on the hands of the Frons and I will believe that until I die, but I put some of the writers also. If it had to be written it could've been written correctly for me I would be behind it, but w/the stuff rumored coming up (pregnancy) I can’t be behind this anymore (even though the make a beautiful picture 2gether). Honestly what sent me over the edge was the promo they aired after the episode. It was the worst kind of insult to the fans and women who were so invested into the groundbreaking storyline (The Accused come to Daytime) told 15-16 yrs. agao.

I'm sorry for the rambling but to sum up what I'm feeling is disappointment.

YES!! Looks like we will be seeing Marty's reaction and wrath when she remembers Todd and her past. This is great news because Haskell will have more Emmy tape material to choose from. I see her being Prenommed in Supporting Actress. I also predict an actual Emmy nomination too.

Another baby switch story; YAWN!!!!!

I will say this; today is the first day I saw the "Marty Saybrooke" I remember. OLTL is a mess right now but after what I've seen today the actors truly are doing the best with what they have.
