I totally agree with you about Starr. I don't think the writers know what do with her. Dena Higley basically killed her character just like she did with Blair. I always felt like she took the backbone out of starr and gave it to Langston. Hopefully Ron has something good in store for her because she has the potential to be a very complicated and interesting character because of all she has gone through. I mean her parents taught her to lie, cheat, and steal when she was a little kid and they used her as a pawn to get back at each other. The kid should be really messed up.
I can't wait to see how Jack turns out. He's had to deal with the unstable environment that is the Manning household plus the fact that he should have a real inferiority complex when he gets older. I mean todd gave him away and his parents always pay more attention to Starr than him. If done right it should be really good.
To Boidiva, on Thursday Starr had scrapes on her hand from the fall. That coupled the look of fear in her eyes and the way she backed up when Todd came near her made for a really powerful scene IMO. In one of Todd and Blair's multiple fight this week(please God don't let them be on as much next week) Blair mentioned that Starr had bruises all over as a result of the fall.
I know that RC is trying to redeem Blair, and I'm grateful for that but in the process he is ruining the character from Todd. I can see Todd becoming violent and accidentally pushing Starr down a flight of stairs. I don't like it but I know he could. What I don't see is him being so consumed with rage that he couldn't even bother to check on his daughter as she lay motionless at the bottom of the stairs. The way he acted in the hospital saying "you forgive me right" as if she had just stepped on her toes made me sick. I don't know what's going on with Trevor this week but the blame can not be solely placed on him. The writers are purposefully righting Todd as unredeemable and i want to know why.
I don't think that the network is allowing them to really write starr as the complicated character she should be---it seems they have a tendenacy to try and make all child characters very likeable and sweet--which really isn't what Starr should be---with these people as parents she should be a total basket case.
Congrats to Kathy Griffin on her second consecutive emmy win!

Good news! According to Robin Strasser's hotline, OLTL was first in 18-49 demos for the 19th and 20th, Monday and Tuesday, the Bride-with-a-Fist episodes. When was the last time that happened?
RS said everyone is very happy.

On today's eppy the highlight for me was the David & Addie scenes. These two play off each other brilliantly. "You haven't lived until you tried it(yoga) naked."

YAY for Pamela Payton Wright!! I love "Addie" and watching her today with David cracked me up so much. I also wanted to see Adriana tear into Dorian more than she did. I wanted to see BLOOD!! The Marcie,Sam,Mike, and Todd scenes were pretty good. I was proud and happy to hear Marcie say "No" when Todd told her to hand over Sam.

i didn't watch today's episode yet, but yesterday's was FANTASTIC. i just can't wait to find out what Blair says when she finds out about the accident---i also hope this can make Blair and Adrianna make up---i've never understood their feud---it just has never worked to me... it lacks the flair that the Kelly/Blair feud had.
Congrats to Kathy Griffin on her second consecutive emmy win!

Wednesday's episode was awesome. More Addie and David..and my Blair was on too. Todd is losing everything..and i love to see him suffer. Serves him right. Kathy BRier and Chris Stack were another highlight for me. I am intrigued by the character of "Brody" and the actor is HOT!!

I agree. Brody is very hot. I just wish he was a better actor, as I'm afraid he might not remain on the show for a long time. I love to see his shirtless scenes, more so than anyone else on the show!!
It is inconceivable to me that Tuc Watkins has never won an Emmy for playing David Vickers. His scenes with Pamela Payton Wright when David and Addie are doing partners Yoga these past few days were funnier than most sitcoms that are on the air right now.

I think I've said it a million times myself. I've come to the conclusion that me and the television academy must just have very different interpretations on acting. They fail to understand that performances at a level that is that deliciously original, asthetic and pleasing to the senses in every way is ALSO acting. There's nobody funnier IMHO that has ever appeared on a soap opera.

Todd was suffering alot today!! Viki turned her back on him. Then at the end everyone going up against him. LOL..i love it!! Friday looks even better with Blair taking the stand.

how great was it to see Viki tell Todd off? i've been waiting for years for Viki to tell Todd to get over himself and take responsibility.
One question: is Andrea Evans return short-term or is she coming one with a contract and a full-term story?
am i the only one that thinks that all this drama Viki is going through right now could lead to one of her alters coming out? i'd LOVE to see Jean Randolph or Tommy come out...
Congrats to Kathy Griffin on her second consecutive emmy win!

Speculation is that Nash's death will cause Jessica to develop a new alternate personality.
I was thinking just that while watching OLTL last night.
As for Viki, she's been through much worse, so I think it would be a cop out to have Niki or any of the others come out again right now, tho I always love seeing Slezak in her alter modes.

OMG! It was superb! The writing was in top form.
thought it was great for me, it was alsmot anti-climatic because of Trevor St. john's lack of acting talent... it would have felt so much more real to me if Roger Howarth had been playing those scenes...
Congrats to Kathy Griffin on her second consecutive emmy win!
