Unfortunately, I'm starting to agree with you. I never was a Fath fan on DAYS. Then, she came to OLTL and I was beginning to warm up to her, but she has been totally outshone by Gallo-Fumeros these past few weeks and seems to have reverted back to her acting of old days.
I so disagree... i never liked her on DOOL, but i ADORE her on OLTL and i think that Gigi is a breath of fresh air. I just think they need to move the story along a bit quicker, she isn't getting enough to do.

Was it Thursday's episode where Ramsay was shot? Another example of poor production skills. It was laughable which is a shame because Ramsay's death was a surprise as I hadn't been reading the spoilers. Am I the only one who finds it offensive that they have Marty at Todd's mercy?
As for Fath, she's very inconsistent. She can be wonderful one minute and incompetent the next which makes me wonder why no one is pulling her aside. The production staff at OLTL is so incredibly sloppy. Boggles my mind.
Farah Fath seems to me now as she always has. I think she's okay. I wouldn't complain about her specifically, but I probably wouldn't praise her either.
What bothered me about last week's OLTL was the whole thing with Tina. I've never seen Andrea Evans as Tina, but I've heard tons and tons. With her return being so highly touted, I would have liked a day or two of seeing Tina interacting with someone she knows or just having normal conversations. With her just thrown into this action bit with Ramsey, Todd, John, and co., I feel let down, like I'm still waiting to see Tina. For all she got to do last week, Evans could have been playing PASSIONS' Rebecca and it wouldn't have made a difference.
I echo those comments about Farah Fath. She is a breath of fresh air. Her dialog with Shane seems like an actual mother-young boy conversation. She is real in her portrayal. She doesn't seem to be "acting" which is an unusual trait for a soap actress. She's just one of many outstanding assets of the show right now.
It breaks my heart to say that Tina's return has been lackluster so far. I think it's partially due to the fact that Erika Slezak, Pat Elliot, Robin Strasser and Bob Woods are the only actors from Evans' previous run that are still around and she hasn't interacted with any of them. It would've made alot more sense for Tina to reminisce about the old days when she was in the limo with Jonas. Or for her to have had a run-in with Blair or Dorian.

I agree. She's not spectacular or anything, but she doesn't grate me either. The Gigi/Shane dynamic is pretty good I must say.

Yep Allan..the girl needs to go. Plain and simple. I read somewhere on here that some are thinking Fath will be an Emmy nominee and winner next year. Also someone said JPL and Fath are delivering Emmy worthy material. LOL..i dont think so. JPL yes..but no to Fath. I also think Farah is bringing down JPL's scenes.

Well u said it..u didnt like her on Days. She is the delivering the same crappy performances on OLTL. So for me...she is a Days actress..therefore she is not very good. I do agree she was a breathe of fresh air..AT FIRST. For like the first 3 or 4 months. But she has now worn thin with me. So i hope OLTL gets rid of her soon.

My only problem with Evans return so far is that it looks like they are going the route where she hides from everyone (except Sarah) for awhile, which I could live with if she were back on a three year contract, but as of right now, this is only a short-term return. I actually really don't mind her! I think it takes a real acting talent (on both sides) to work well with a child, and her and Shane have a fantastic dynamic together. I really think that's a big plus in her favor, not to mention how great I think he is!
I am also intrigued as to her storyline where she and Brody are concerned. He seems pretty set on picking up where they left off, but I'm not certain she's into it. What I'd really love is to see a bit more of him and Shane together, and I wouldn't mind he and Gigi either!

My Rant about OLTL (6/17) Who in the hell does Natalie thinks she is. Her loyalty should be to her FAMILY. No way she should be barganing to get Jared out of jail for causing Nash's death. And if she is wondering why her sister is going to hate her is because of crap like this. "I want it in writing " Kind of hell is that UGH.

This is terrible, contrived writing. They wrote Jared into a corner and they should have turned him into an outright villain or axed the character. Jared is a killer so why should I care about anything that happens to him? In the process, they've finished the destruction of Natalie. I haven't seen today's episode, but I can see I'll be fast forwarding through most of the episode.

I'm kind of losing interest in OLTL (this whole making Jared out to be the good guy crap is bothering me and when Renee slap him ) but I'll definatly be watching the 40th anniversary because unlike GH 45 sec., this will be better.

So for me...she is a Days actress..therefore she is not very good.
Well that's an ugly thing to say! The DAYS cast has been a lot more consistent and effective the last six months than the OLTL cast, overall.
Sorry to say that..but for me..it is true. I never did care for Days or its cast very much. Maybe there is 3 cast members that really stand out from the rest. Reckell and Alfonso are 2 of them.

Uh...sorry. On their worst day the OLTL cast could never be outperformed by the Days cast. OLTL boasts one of the top 3 or 4 casts in daytime. Days is universally regarded one step up from Passionsland acting.

I don't know who's worse, but both shows have some great actors, underused actors, and supbar actors. I think it's more about the material rather than the actor. I couldn't stand Austin Peck on DOOL, but I wanted him to be an emmy nominee for his work on ATWT. Nelson was not a fan of Tamara Braun on GH, but likes her work on DOOL.
As inconsistent as Fath is, I'm looking forward to her scenes with Strasser in today's episode (if she's actually in it which I'm assuming) which I can't say about Melissa Archer or the guy who plays Jared.
