"All the news that is fit to print. Claudia Zacchara has been a wild ride, every ride stops when the music ends. The Music stops mid Oct. Its been nice being back at GH, but it's time for the Character to come to an end, at least for me. Much love Have a film in the works for Nov - a lead role to die for - and we shall c what else comes up. Thank you for your support, means the world!"

All I have to say is that this character was a waste of such a talented actress and I am happy that it looks like her time on the show is coming to an end. Hope for better stuff from this powerhouse. Y&R anyone lol, but in all seriousness I wish her the best.

Good for her and for the show. The Zaccharas are a cancer on GH.
"A movie is not good because it arrives at conclusions you share, or bad because it does not. A movie is not about what it is about. It is about how it is about it: about the way it considers its subject matter, and about how its real subject may be quite different from the one it seems to provide." - Roger Ebert, from the introduction to "Awake in the Dark" (2006)
I like Johnny. So they're not a total wash. Perhaps there is another lesson for ABC to learn here. When you have one of the most talented and most sought-after actresses on daytime...you probably shouldn't write her as a shrill mafia princess who is trying to murder kids. Maybe it's just me.

This makes me said, yes the character is horrible, but Brown brings her A-Game to it everyday. I guess she gets killed off because of the Michael shooting?
My website and blog are taking a little break, since Geocities is closing and I now have to upload everything to a new site, so I am working on a new design and it is gonna take me a while, hoping to get it up by Oscar Season.
There's no doubt that Sarah Brown is incredibly talented, but the character of Claudia was ill-conceived from the very beginning. Brown gave her all and had some great moments as Claudia, but in the end, it didnt' work. I hope they don't recast the character and just let her go.

this became more about bashing claudia than the thought of sarah brown leaving daytime once again. she is needed in daytime sad to say. and claudia leaving gh doesnt mean that show gets better, their vets will still be backburner, lisa locicero will still bore the crap out of the show, carly will still be martha stewart, and there is still natalia livingston on that show. there's no hope for gh as long as these actors are on this show. i just wish people would stop and think about the fact that sjb is leaving and not use this opportunity to trash claudia. i have had plans to stop watching soaps(other than maybe y&r) next year and if sjb doesnt go to y&r or another quality soap, then that just may be a done deal for me.
it looks to me that sarah already has these tweets from low budget filmmakers wanting to write for her when she is much better than what they are worth, so she likely will be back scrounging for guest starring roles once again.
i love Sarah, always have and always will but this role wasn't working from day one and i'm glad she's leaving this mess of a show. I'd love to see her at Y&R, B&B or OLTL, the three soaps i think could accomodate her talent with the type of story she deserves to play.

I could see her at Y&R or OLTL, but B&B can't accomodate the talent they already have so I doubt Brown would find much success over there.

if sarah's core fanbase has their way she wont be in daytime. they seem to have a problem with me saying that she is not wanted in primetime because of certain special features she has but its the truth. they also cant stand the fact that y&r wants to fire a pregnant actress. i can say these people did not like sarah for her acting its more about her stint on a kids show and her nature of personality. those days are over and sjb isnt hot stuff to primetime/hollywood producers. miss brown is in for another long wait.

I don't neccisarily think that Sarah's work on VR Troopers in the early 90's will really affect her oppurtunity to work on primetime. She's worked on primetime shows a lot already from "Mysterious Ways" to "Cold Case" to "Without A Trace" so i can't see why she'd be all of a sudden shunned because she worked on a kids show in the 1990's. What could hurt her though is her inability to shake her soap opera persona, it doesn't always look good to casting agents to see an actress has had roles on multiple soap operas as it may look to them as an actress with limited range who can only play soap opera roles.

she didnt last on cold case les moonves fired her because she was taking the spotlight away from kathryn morris. it was also said that moonves didnt like sjb, dont know the source but it was talked about on her board. those other guest starring roles she got she wouldnt be the main guest star other than kville. she got a lot of airtime in that one.
as for the kids show, what i was saying is that those fans have followed her since then. some of them watched her as carly but they didnt like her because of her acting, it may have had more to do with character she played. i didnt say that it affects her chance of getting roles. that was a different subject. sjb may be just a little too creative and artistic for some people to want to cast. primetime doesnt go for the wow factor in acting. most of the primetime actors actually can't act. hargatay is basically the best in primetime, but she came into primetime a lot earlier when they werent skewing for 20 somethings. sjb even complained about not getting enough calls as a blonde but when she dyed her hair she was already too old. the only late 20s/ 30s actors to be cast in primetime today are those that have been around before the new age such as christina applegate or teri hatcher. i have seen sjb in primetime and i can see that she comes off a bit too colorful and seems to outshine the stars, which wouldnt please those producers.
now i just learned on twitter that sjb is working on a tv show she is going to write and direct. it seems sjb is already starting off her directing career and life behind the camera very soon.
