yes..from the pics it look like they both had 6-7 inches..thats not that big..And it wasnt even that thick..i guess i've been SPOILED when it comes to "tripods"...I hope this dont get me ban from the site..lol..

Aidan is one of my least favorite characters on AMC, mainly because he has lasted seven years (!) on this show without ever having a credible reason to be there. No viable love interest? He's not even a viable character! Sure he's the brother of Alexandra and Anna Devane, but they've been gone for years, and nobody on GH or AMC ever acknowledges this family connection. I don't care much about crazy Annie either.
You know, I think that really is the main problem with AMC. Even if the writing improved, with all the recasts and new characters, there's nobody on the show I recognize. I don't care about a single damn person on that show anymore.
I might just have to start watching DAYS again, though. I've tuned in here and there the last couple of months but never caught anything that has interested me. I sooooo want to love a show right now, but GL is a mess, GH is a cesspool, OLTL is all over the place, AMC, ATWT, and B&B are the pits, and Y&R is nowhere as good as its hype right now. All the soaps are leaving my stranded.

Nelson, I COMPLETELY agree with you about Tony Geary.
I wanted to ask you what you meant with your Tom Eplin comment? I was a big fan of his ATWT stint, and I absolutely LOVED his chemistry with Lesli Kay and also with Kristina Sisco. It was a shame when he was killed off and I remember being heartbroken by Kay's performance. Anyway, I know this is wishful thinking, but I would love to see Michael O'Leary's Rick be one of the crossovers. He is a fine actor and a very likeable character who I will miss greatly because he's one of the few that weren't butchered over the years by bad writing regimes.
The Tony Geary stuff was brilliant. It's about time someone said those things. ABC needs to start going after the GH men--Benard, Burton, and Geary--and forcing them to take pay cuts the way they do with the women. Those three have ruined GH, and this Luke/Ethan story is a slap in the face to any GH viewer with a brain cell left.
I am torn on Y&R. I have to say it is clearly the best show on Daytime by far, but it does havew it shares of problems and the pimping of the show from everyone, including myself, hides that. From the stupid sideplot of Daniel, Amber, Kevin, & Jana to the whole quad that is providing great acting for all involve, but there's no one to root for. Sharon is a ho mess, Jack is a wishy washy man ho, Nick is an ass, and Phyllis is a mess too. I have to agree about Haiduk she has been awesome and her final days on AMC she was good too so I am happy that she is in this role killing it. And imagine that this could've been Beth Elhers.
Alright people time for me to ask a question. Do yall think Amelia Heinle is a bad actress or an actress bad for the role? B/C I think people want for a stronger actress in the role is warrented and I agree, but I don't think Heinle deserves all the crap she has gotten for just doing her job.

Finally someone tells it like it is with Geary. I literally almost fell off my chair when I read his interview...wtf? The big 3 (Burton, Geary, Bernard) are going to be the death of GH. My dogs cant even sit through the show anymore.
As much as I love Tognoni (and I do alot) I dont want her on ATWT. That show is directionless at best and most days its a train wreck. Unless they are bringing Branson along theres really nobody to pair her with, undoubtedly they will probably try to saddle her with McCouch/Dusty which would possibly be the only person that could suck the life out of her.
Does anyone know if ATWT gets a bigger budget now that GL is a goner? It seems they are spending more $$ these days bringing in March, Herring, McClain and now possibly looking at 4 GLers.
Days has been downright good, the last couple weeks....Scary good!

Heinle deserves the crap — she's not playing Victoria, but every other role she's played. She seems to forget that Vicki is a bitch, and prefers to play her as a heroine. It's not the writing, it's the delivery. And she has no personality. Those are all acting choices, or lackthereof. She sucks butt.

I agree with this somewhat, but if she's acting the other roles, the writers also write Vicrtoria as a bland heroine. They've written nothing noteworthy for her except the episode where Victoria tore into Sharon for kissing Brad. Heinle was great, and I remember discussion here that viewers were hoping the character would go in that direction. Instead, it was back to Blandsville.
Nelson, i blame the casting people at Y&R for even hiring Heinle. I have no idea what in the hell they were smoking (maybe taking some of Ridge's pills). God help us.....Ridge is now a junkie. This should be interesting!
I bet you as soon as Heather Tom's contract is up at B&B, Ava Maria will stab brother-in-law Brad in the back and snatch little Ms Tom away...as well she should.
Then i believe My Maria will kill off JT (because there is no way Thad will stay with the show that canned his wife's ass). That, topped with the fact that Luckinbill himself is not happy with his backburner status. Then the old Victoria can rise again from the ashes and be daddy's little spawn. And let's be real, Tom's Victoria would castrate Adam for all his shenanigans. Heinle just throws a few dirty looks his way with her baby blues and storms out. No backbone in that character.
