I am happy Ricky Paul Goldin has joined the cast as "Jake Martin". This man is such a terrific actor.

Yeah he already started airing last week. He was rescued by Aidan and is already back in Pine Valley. I think he saw Joe and Tad for the first time today (I havent watched yet but it was in the previews). He was brought into the hospital at the very end on Friday and Angie saw him.

The new Colby looks so much like the old one. What is the new actress' name?

Today's eppy was a shinning example of what works and what falls flat.

It was wonderful having Greg back on the canvas; what a valentine to longtime fans.

Any of the scenes with Adam/Stuart, Dixie, Tad, and Jake were very effective.

Get rid of Aidan and Zach and disband the Fusion ladies and AMC will be heading in the right direction.

Was AMC a complete DREAM today or what?! I loved seeing EVERYONE on the canvas that I loved. There was Joe, Ruth, Stuart, Marian, Julia, Jesse, Angie, Tad, Dixie, Krystal... I LOVED IT!!!!! I was just waiting for Brooke and Liza to show up. Seemed like old times.

The only part that annoyed me was the Greenlee/Aidan/Zack/Kendall B/S. I am sick of them ALL! I used to love Budig, but something has just been off since her return. I actually think I was getting used to Sabine Singh.

And the new Colby sucks. Ambyr Childers had really grown into the role, and I hate she was recast.

Definitely a Drama Series submission. To those of u who missed it, catch it on Soap Net. If you crave the glory days of AMC then u will love today's show.

I just wish Myrtle had been there...

~Morgan

It was wonderful and hopefully Budig finally gets a chance to shine today. I haven't watched today's episode but I am hoping for a good one.

Did anyone catch the end of AMC on Friday? I am surprised no one has mentioned anything about it. For the first time in quite awhile, I witnessed something on a soap that felt like a cliffhanger of yore. Jesse jumping of the building hurtling through the air toward the helicopter...will he reach it? Will our hero save the day? Classic. I was watching the episode with my partner (not a traditional soap fan, but reluctantly watching soaps as I watch...started with Noah and Luke on ATWT), and he actually sat up in bed a bit and got excited about what would happen next.

I loved the way the show ended on Friday. Williams, Morgan and Rasche were excellent throughout the episode. My only gripe is about the previews. Why bother to do such a great cliffhanger if you're just going to give away the denouement in those clips? BTW, when is ABC going to make a definitive announcement as to who Beth Ehlers will be playing? Also, there's a rumor that Billy Miller (soon to be ex-Richie) has been approached by OLTL to be the NuJoey. Anyone else heard this?

I agree friday's episode should be submitted along with the Angie & Jessie stuff for best Drama. The entire cast was great! Canary, McClain, Morgan, Williams, Knight, and Goldin. All deserve Emmy nods next year!

I am so giddy with excitement for AMC because Tuesday's episode was incredible, I couldn't turn away. I was completely riveted everything worked except Kendall and Ryan of course.

I loved when Jesse pushed Rob out of the helicopter and then landed on the roof and then his eyes opened like he was Michael Meyers or something.

The scenes of Julia dieing were very well done but why was Krystal there? And I doubt they were able to bring back any of the other Santos' for the funeral, that's a bummer.

I agree. A great episode. I teared when Julia died. It came swift and fast..so it made it more tragic.

Rebecca Budig has been doing great since she has come back. I have always enjoyed watching her. She is a great talent.

Budig is a good actress. However, Greenlee is a complete mess. The writers seem to rewrite history every minute when it comes to her. I detest the character because they always try to paint her as the 'good girl' with Kendall as the devil's spawn.

Well said and i totally agree. But what i hate about Kendall is that they've completley ruined the character---she's no longer a complex, conflicted anti-herione, she's a bland, whiny mess.

Congrats to Kathy Griffin on her second consecutive emmy win!
