Pratt did a great job this week with moving the Jesse and Angie story forward. Great stuff from Darnell and Debbi. You could feel Jesse's despair and Angie's frustration and compassion. Beth Ehlers is knocking it out of the ballpark but hey, is that surprising? It's a shame she gets little or no air time to tell this story. RPG is so smooth and interesting as Dr. Jake--love it. Adam and Petey are a hoot and throwing in Annie was genius. The sextext is horrible and boring and gets way too much airtime. All in all, AMC is stepping it up and I am enjoying Pratt a lot.
i too am enjoying AMC much more than before. I totally agree that Jake and Taylor are great (not necessarily together) cause i still think Jake and Greenlee have insane chemistry.
Adam and Petey are downright HILARIOUS together. Great use of comedy and history with these two.
I will say that i feel the dialogue of the sextet is much more real and full of actual adult feeling than before - and they are discussing it accordingly.
All in all the past two weeks have been quite a nice turnaround.
AND Melissa Claire Egan should be up for Emmy Consideration with the way she's performed this year. Since i believe she'll still be placed in the Younger Actress Category - she's got an EXCELLENT SHOT!

She'll be submitted in Supporting (since she 26 going on 27), but I agree she has been great.

Yup, i feel like it's been quite good the past couple of weeks actually. I actually get home from work and make a snack and immediately turn it on. And that's saying something for me!
I watched an entire episode of AMC yesterday for the first time in months, and I actually liked it. The Erica/Adam stuff was great. Lucci and Canary have a tremendous on-screen chemistry. Pratt is making a very wise move by pairing them up again.
The spoilers that are out about the tornado storyline and this is some DRAMA that Pratt is penning and all I will tease is that Zendall fans are going to be LIVID.

I don't watch AMC, but I'm almost tempted to tune in for this tornado thing. It seems like the show is really making strides at getting back on the right track, which is just great.
This latest twist with Bianca shows that AMC remains the soap opera most notorious for destroying character histories and motivations. Bianca would do no such thing to her sister! This, after they had her forgive Babe and befriend her again.
its gonna be hard for egan to be pre-nommed with budig, minshew(they're not going lead)and elhers likely to get in over her. and you already have morgan, eakes, and lucci for lead. unless amc wants to confuse voters by forcing four in s.actress, she could get in then. oh wait eden regal will be back. if she's on the canvas pre-nom time she will get in.
