Personally I hope she doesn't b/c I think she has a good set of well deserved wins, but from what I have read from the citations she has some scenes that she could submit.

Yes she has stuff she should submit. The Josh/Reva ALWAYS wedding for sure! And she damn well should. With the rate of decline this show is experiencing, it very well could be her last chance to even win an Emmy for playing one of the most iconic characters on daytime. And yes, this year is not any less iconic. Reva, who has gone through menopause (an the last story Zimmer won an Emmy for) is now having a baby at her advanced age. Insane? Yes! But I gurante Zimmer will play the hell out of it, because that's who she is.

did you see the show today? The doctor told Jeffery at the end of the show that it was not her cancer that had returned, but instead she was preggs! *rolls eyes*
lol...and if they manage to have Reva pop this kid out by December...she may have had the quickest pregnancy in the history of soaps! Talk about Emmy reels!

OK - I am really not trying to be rude here, but am I the only one who noticed that Kim Zimmer has gained ALOT of weight? I hadn't watched in a while, then tuned in a couple of months ago and was really surprised with her appearance. With that said, I think she is a fantastic actress and should continue to submit her name for consideration

No, you're not being rude. We all know Zimmer has gained a lot of weight. Even Kim herself has said she knows it, because she hasnt been happy. Thats the ironic thing. Now that all of Kim's kids have left home, she's starting an exersize program - just in time to make Reva pregnant and have Kim wear padding! lol...oh this is just all too much for me to wrap my mind around.

My whole thing is that she won her 4th Emmy for the menopause storyline and it was her best storyline in yrs. So why would the 385 writers at GL insult our inteligence (I already know don't all yall answer that at once)? It is stuff like this is why that Daytime is look down up on. But like I have posted earlier Zimmer has made acting the crap out of crazy storylines a fine art form and it is a testement to her acting.

according to the everyday GL watchers it was never stated that Reva was through menopause.
On today's show, Reva commented that she was still in menopause. The doctor went on about how unusual this was, but considering one of the drugs Reva is taking to keep her cancer at bay is also used as a fertility drug it isn't unheard of. They explained all the risks Reva will be facing. She'll have to go off her cancer medications during the pregnancy which could cause her cancer to return plus her hormones will be running wild. I was pleased that GL seemed to have put some effort into researching this. Kim Zimmer will no doubt do an Emmy-worthy job.

Yes, Zimmer should submit her name this year. There have been a lot of strong performances from actresses this year, and Zimmer, along with Y&R's Melody Thomas Scott, ATWT's Noelle Beck, and OLTL's Erika Slezak are among those who have been great this year.
I am one of the few who actually think ZImmer should have submitted her name last year because she had strong material to submit; however, this year she has much more material from the early Jonathan stuff from this year, to the Reva/Josh drama during the summer and her current storyline. I have no doubt she will be nominated next year.
