America's Next Top Model winner Eva Marcille and Jamia Simone Nash (August Rush) will appear on Wednesday, June 25. Marcille plays Tyra Hamilton, Devon's aunt who is a single mother to daughter Ana, played by Nash. Devon is reunited with them at Lily's 21st birthday party.
Eva was such a feisty bitch - almost like a real-life Drucilla - and I think she'll be a good match for Neil. It's so funny that her character's name is TYRA! LOL!!!
Interestingly, the runner-up to Eva during her season (Cycle 3), was Yaya - who is now on AMC.

Eva won a guest spot on Kevin Hill during her season of Top Model and did so well that they invited her back for more episodes. I hope that she's continued to work on her acting because this could be an amazing casting choice. It's great to finally see a show in daytime adding more minorities. Y&R should be ashamed of themselves lately. For example, they have Neil and Devon, but never use them or give them safe and boring stories/romantic pairings. Devon is especially wasted. I'm surprised Bryton stuck around.
