Confidential wrote that Vivian should return, and I agree. I don't think Louise has done any soap work since playing lifestyle guru Donnatella Stewart on PC. She was annoying as Augusta on SB, so her turn as Vivian is her signature role. And she had good sparring chemistry with Koslow. I loved how they used to have Koslow's Kate say Vivian should be tarred and feathered and run out of town. Carly and Kate vs. Vivian would be good.

I don't see why DOOL needs Crystal Chappell. Why add to the load when you're on an upswing? Returns should be organic. I'd much rather see Deidre Hall which I know isn't likely, but the one hole in the story is that Marlena is not there for Sami.
I like Clementine Ford as MAc. It's the writing that is letting her down although I did like the scenes on Friday's episode. I thought she had chemistry with David Lago, and I'd be interested to see where that relationship goes. I also like her prickly relationship with Hendrickson's Chloe although I still don't understand why Chloe is on the show.

I've adored Stacy Haiduk since she was on a short-lived vampire show--The KINDRED--but I'm not loving the unhinged stuff. It reminds me too much of Vincent on PASSIONS.
Well the only thing Ron has her doing is talking with nora about her feelings for Bo and being Cole's drug counselor, which by the way, that storyline should still be playin out. I mean he spent no time in re-hab. You dont just quit using drugs cold turkey one day, and go on with your life the following day

Chris Stack would have made a great Buchanan. I always felt bad for the guy. He's handsome and talented but by the time he got the role, Michael's part in the Tommy/Sam storyline was pretty much done and now he gets fired.
I don't remember the other Rachels so I have nothing to compare her to, but I like this one so far. I like her chemistry with Hillary B Smith and she showed a little spunk when trying to get Nora to admit her feelings for Bo. I'll reserve judgment until they give her a real storyline.
It sucks about Tognoni, but honestly they already have enough women in that age range with DePaiva, Haskell and Lozano. They need to bring Kevin or Joey back b/c I might throw up if I have to watch those 3 ladies fighting over John and Todd any more.

As a long-time DAYS fans, I'm thrilled at the prospect of Crystal Chappell returning as Carly for a few reasons, not the least of which are sheer fanboy bliss and the possibility that one of the worst things about the show right now -- the lack of story for Bo and Hope -- might be rectified. I do agree with you, Crystal, that I'd rather see Marlena back, but yeah, that seems unlikely to happen, sadly. I'll take what I can get.

I hope she and the show makes it work. We don't need yet ANOTHER Mac recast. At this rate, the character of Mac will soon beat the Kevin Buchanan recast record over at OLTL.
