Okay, the writing still is pretty awful, and the production quality is anything but classy. But Kane Manera coming back to town as "G" or Grady, as they are calling him now is the first thing to peek my interst about this show since January. A young, good looking, man who can act - say it aint so. GL, I beg of you, dont screw this one up. The intruge of being with Daisy and killing Tammy is enough for now, dont pair him with a long lost cousin of his, PLEASE. Or god forbid his own brother, Cyrus. Well...now that I think about it ---nah, not on daytime.

Making him Cyrus' brother was brilliant. Just as he was leaving last year he showed a spark of talent and I was disappointed to see him go. Now that he's back GL is better already. When Grady said Hi brother or something Cyrus facial expression was really good.
WILLIAM PETERSEN: Well, this is a shock. The only explanation for this is that somehow in the last year, every one of you tried to act with rubber gloves and tweezers.

Meh. This guy doesn't really do it for me, and making him Cyrus's brother only serves to anchor that annoying Aussie to the Springfield canvas. To think that GL lost Gus and Harley and left us with Cyrus -- not a fair trade.
"A movie is not good because it arrives at conclusions you share, or bad because it does not. A movie is not about what it is about. It is about how it is about it: about the way it considers its subject matter, and about how its real subject may be quite different from the one it seems to provide." - Roger Ebert, from the introduction to "Awake in the Dark" (2006)
