Was hoping for an increase for the much-improved Guiding Light....and instead it lost some viewers. Glad for the other soaps but hopefully GL's numbers will creep back up to the 1.8-2.0 range.

It may take time for the audience to come back. Question is will the powers-that-be give them the wiggle room or will they pull the plug.
I'm constantly trying to wrap my mind around things like that. Higley and company were writing such awful stories for Marlena and John towards the end of last year into this year. At least I'm for the most part enjoying the story revolving around Nicole/Sami and the one revolving around Chloe. I'm getting a little tired of the back and forth between Phillip and Stephanie. It seemed kind of promising at first, but then they made it all about Melanie. He hasn't really worked in any pairing since Belle left.
the two lowest rated episodes on atwt for that week was the ones with nuke and ali/casey/jade/mark. they dont have great acting in that story and seems a bit carefree. nuke always gets gimmicky stuff just to keep them on and then there is the mediocre acting skills of ms, she's no jessica dunphey. no surprise the highest rated is the craig/carly/jacket show minus peg/josie(good she's gone)/thug. atwt needs to go back to the old style. i hate this. i prefer the stories be dragged out than blowing it all up in one episode. gl's cancellation(if happens) should hopefully be a wake up call for atwt.
kmh is working with rh again this week, lets see what that brings.
