Wright was the only thing that saved "The Michael Being Shot" storyline from being the typical GH crap they have been churning out as of late.

I've been a fan of Laura Wright's version of Carly since the get-go. Its nice to see her winning some (not all, but some) of her detractors over.

These are some performers that just about every list has had in common:

Lead Actor
Eric Braeden
David Canary
Darnell Williams

Lead Actress
Kassie DePaiva
Debbi Morgan
Katherine Kelly Lang
Robin Strasser
Laura Wright

Supporting Actor
Daniel Cosgrove
Justin Deas
Brian Kerwin
Joshua Morrow
Ted Shackleford
Tuc Watkins

Supporting Actress
Kathy Brier
Sharon Case
Judith Chapman
Jennifer Gareis
Heather Tom

If these performers truly have been the best, and aren't unseated by others by the end of the year, then hopefully the 2009 nominations will reflect our lists. And please note that I'm being as optimistic as possible. These are the Daytime Emmys we're talking about.

Allan, as always, THANKYOU, THANKYOU, THANKYOU for saying what I didn't have a
chance to say... It's no surprize that you channeled my list and winners one to one.
I couldn't have said it better myself. Your selections are dead on. winner

Thanks, Berlin. I have missed your posts, especially in light of the sad and untimely passing of our beloved Beverlee McKinsey. Hope all is well.

Re: Laura Wright. It's been no secret that I have never been a fan of hers, but she has been superb in this storyline and worthy of all of the praise she has been given on this board.

Also, I left out William DeVry from my supporting list and have added him. How could I have made that mistake, as he is certainly a contender for supporting next year, IMHO.

I know. I'm surprised that I'm the ONLY poster that listed him. He was brilliant during the first part of the year.
