wow Nelson, what a great interview, you really touched me when you talked about your personal expierances with love, it was very touching. This interview was fascinating to read because he really spoke out more so than any actor ususally does and i like that he was so frank about everything.

Easton is a pretty cool dude (even though I can take or leave McBain).

I agree w/him that Trevor was robbed of an Emmy nom in 2007 for Todd's execution. That was some raw acting.

Michael Easton is an interesting guy, and this is one of my favorite interviews yet. I like the mention of the parallels between soaps and comic books. I talk about it a lot because comic books and soaps are my two big passions, and I think it's because they're essentially very similar products, just with different formats and window dressings.

Awww.... thanks. I appreciate that, because it wasn't one of my standouts (I had a GL moment). But I do think my interviews are cool because I choose to have conversations instead.... Why not connect with people? Isn't that what life is about. Also, when you give something of yourself, the actor will instinctively do the same.

Well i think that is the same in real life as well, the more you give of yourself the more others will open up to you.

It was nice to hear that Easton loves his work and cares about the genre. I'm not a big fan of JM but I'd love to see a character like Blair stir some things up in John that have yet to be explored. A John/Blair/Marty/Todd quadrangle has a lot of possibilites; playing up the Blair/Marty hatred is key. Also playing the fact that Todd and Blair just can't be with anyone else would also be a fun beat to explore further.
