I'd prefer they bring back Kevin for Luke. Either Kevin or a character with history connected to the show. hey even Billy Ross, Margo's nephew, wouldn't be a bad idea. I do think they need to make Noah fight for Luke this time around.

Holy Gotham City, Batman, ATWT was classic Oakdale yesterday, with Kim, Bob, Susan, Barbara and Lisa all on throughout the show and the harrassment storyline is really keeping me glued to the screen.

All that would have made the episode complete was a toots or kiddo from Kim!!

Yeah Tuesday's episode where Kim, Bob and Chris get interrupted by Susan at Al's diner was GREAT! I am so glad Susan got angry at Chris and having so much history being brought up in such a short scene [i.e. Susan and Bob's affair], was great too. Kim is going to look like a dunce when she finds out her precious little Chris DID in fact do all those things to Alison. I'm on team Stewart...is that wrong of me? haha

Totally agree, but I'm detecting some things that are making me a little nervous:

1. Please don't turn Chris into Adam 2! Chris has too much history & I would hate to see him turned into a raving lunatic who has to be shuttled off to some faraway land because he's gone beyond redemption. I would rather he stayed a jerk or had a moment of clarity ("Hey, I did sexually harrass Ali!") than be gone. If TPTB don't like the actor, send him away before things get out of hand & recast.

2. Susan threatens Chris' life in a public place (in front of his parents no less) & Aaron swears to Ali he's going to kill Chris. Please, please, please don't turn this into another lamo murder "mystery"! Evan Walsh the Third is long gone & I really don't want another member of a core family knocked off with absolutely no pay off. There's so much to work with here, please don't take the easy way out. And God knows Barbara's family has been decimated, don't do it to the Hughes!

I know exactly what you mean dwb. What makes me nervous is that while no one has proof that Chris is doing these things, other than Alison's "word", everyone can easily see the proof that Aaron assaulted Chris, and Susan verbally attacked him also. It's just looking like he may get away with it afterall or that something else might happen. I just pray they don't take him beyond the "point of no return". Good song by the way..haha.

Why in the world did they saddle Julie Pinson with such an annoying character in Janet? And Liberty is as equally annoying!

And she and Austin Peck have no chemistry! I can't picture them as ever having been a couple.

Well, they moved the Ali/Chris storyline forward quite quickly (no surprise.) Hope there is more to come, tho, as it's currently the best storyline on the show, IMHO.

I agree it's the best written story right now, BUT, why didn't Ali or Bonnie bring up the fact that Chris had Ali removed from patient care?! I thought that was the straw that broke the camel's back, the reason Ali went forward with this. That was very disappointing & obviously dropped so they could avoid Chris losing the case.

That said, I am glad the writers allowed Chris a little redemption & Ali's telling him off in the bar was great, Marne really shined in that scene!

And sorry, I love "Juicy" Janet & Liberty. Janet may be a little over the top, but the show needs a kick in the pants every now & again (especially with mopey Nuke on the loose!) The young actress playing Liberty continues ATWT's lucky streak with young new hires & I think she has great chemistry with Mick Hanzen, Julie Pinson, Austin Peck & Terri Columbino. I would also love to see Janet & Jack together! He needs a little fun in his life!

Finally a little drama on this show, Margo catching Emily in her home & pulling a gun on her. Too funny! Give her hell Margo!

The Casey-Emily-Margo story is my favorite. Ellen Dolan has been great.

This show is actually pretty watchable right now, though I couldn't care less about this Sophie murder garbage. The worst part of the storyline is Meg's awful new hairdo and the way too much makeup she is wearing these days.

I really have been enjoying ATWT! I was very impressed with todays ep, even the Paul & Meg stuff didn't drive me too crazy & I think that's because I found the whole "Why won't Mike leave us alone" vibe to be pretty funny. I mean they've got a body in the garden for crissakes & they're all ****ed at goofy Mike!

I usually hate murder "mysteries" that have only one or two logical suspects (paging Evan Walsh) but I think (hope?) what the writers are going for here has more to do with the fact that Paul has (once again) totally screwed the pooch by sanitizing the murder scene rather than trying to keep us on the edge of our seats until Cole is finally revealed to be the killer. And of course anything that keeps CZP working is ok by me.

But what I really loved today were the Emily/Casey/Margo/Tom/Susan scenes. All the actors were terrific & I never get tired of Marie Masters reactions to Emily's screw ups! She always makes me laugh & her behaviour with Casey was pretty funny. It was like a flashback to her chasing a boy off the porch when Em was 16. The prostitution reveal was great & it seems like it's been forever since ATWT has had any kind of an effective reveal.

And I also have to say I really enjoyed Carly's lunch date yesterday. It was nice to see the beginning of a relationship blossoming between those two in a very nice/normal paced scene. Nothing show offy, & Maura was terrific, nothing reel worthy, but she got to show off a subtler, quieter Carly & I enjoyed it very much. It was good to see some character development on this show!

I find this show to be as bad as it was. Yes, CZP and Ellen Dolan have been good, but the characters are so hateful and the writing so misogynistic. Could they debase Emily any further? Rapes, attempted rape, prostitution, sleeping with her son's half brother. I'm supposed to care about this woman? I also don't get Casey and Emily because I don't buy the actor as straight. He may be, but like Trent Dawson, he comes across as gay. You have Carly again sleeping with her best friend's man. You have Paul and Meg burying Sofie and then getting married as if that's perfectly acceptable. What's the point of complaining about Luke and Noah since they are such nonentities on the show? The focus couldn't even be about them for the "gay rights" episode. Why do the people at GH and ATWT hate women so much?

After a few months away, I watched ATWT for most of last week, and I thought it definitely seemed better than it had been before I stopped watching it. Paul and Meg were more tolerable, the Emily/Casey pairing was interesting, and the Carly/Holden dynamic was much better than having her continue to run after Jack. It was far from perfect, and I'm still not going back to watching on a regular basis, but it was certainly more enjoyable to me than it was before.

I fast forward through the Meg and Paul scenes. The only one worth watching in the story is CZP.

I think Jean Passanante hates Emily and Carly because she's debased them badly over the last two years.

I actually can't wait to watch ATWT for a change, and I NEVER thought i'd say that again!

I still dont really like the Meg/Paul/Sophie stuff and wish they'd fix that story so CZP had some good stuff to play with.

But, Tom/Margo/Emily/Casey is good stuff, Janet is a pretty damn good new character and she's incredibly fun with Jack, and I agree with those that think now that Martha Byrne is no longer Lily that Holden & Carly are pretty dynamic. I'm looking forward to having Noelle Beck be given some meaty stuff. She might not be the Lil we all know and love, but many a character has been recast and completely rewritten.

The completely unbalanced ATWT is growing stronger by the day. Thur. 7-17 show rocked as Holden told Lily the truth, told Carly that he told Lily, and Lily went gunning for "the Bitch" at the end. Mixed up with the Janet/Jack stuff it worked and poor Carly had it coming from all angles.

I didnt really think the ATWT writers still had it in them, and had written it off awhile ago - but its certainly picking up steam...let's just hope it doesnt cool too quickly.
