What is this? I actually watched a whole episode of ATWT and ... liked it!
The aftermath of Parker and Liberty (I really liked Austin Peck in these scenes). Lily's anger at Holden and Carly (Martha Byrne would have rocked the house on these scenes, but Noelle Beck, to her credit, was pretty good also). Granted, I'd like to punch Parker in the mouth, and all the adults involved are hypocrites, but I didn't roll my eyes once! And for ATWT these days, that's a rave.
"A movie is not good because it arrives at conclusions you share, or bad because it does not. A movie is not about what it is about. It is about how it is about it: about the way it considers its subject matter, and about how its real subject may be quite different from the one it seems to provide." - Roger Ebert, from the introduction to "Awake in the Dark" (2006)
Austin Peck has to be the most improved actor in daytime. I thought he was so good today. Too bad he didn't get to do more damage to that little snot Parker.
Okay, Lindsay, are you forgetting that I was a professional twice over— an analyst and a therapist. The world’s first analrapist.
I don't care about Liberty and Parker and I'm even more outraged that the show can show them having sex but Luke and Noah are "roommates." I can't muster any interest despite Peck and Colombino. The Carly/Holden/Lily stuff would work if Noelle Beck weren't wiping the floor with Hensley. Hensley is turning in one half a s s e d performance after another. At this point, the females around him--Beck, Widdoes, Hubbard and sometimes West--are acting circles around him. Don't know what his problem is, but he needs to get over it.
I'm a bit bummed about Prescott because he can act and he has charisma to spare so they of course get rid of him.
I like the Parker & Liberty storyline. Everyone involved are giving great performances and I relate to this b/c I am a teen and this is the only teen storyline right now that works.
I know ppl look down on this b/c teens get to have sex while the gay couple is relegated to being "roommates". I know it’s unfair, but that should be blame on TPTB for thinking that this is still the 50's.

I, too, am enjoying the fallout of the Parker/Liberty storyline, but really disagree about Beck's performance, but that's just me. Will see if a better ATWT can go up in the ratings, tho it has been doing the best for CBS among young girls, 12-17, so the eye network has to be happy about that.
I am usually no fan of teen stories, but I love Parker & Liberty! The young actress playing Liberty is the find of the year, she's so natural & has terrific comic timing. Loved Parker throwing the adults past (& present) indiscretions in Jack's face! And I have to say it again: I love Jack & Carly not being together! Love his digs & her standing up for herself. I am loving his chemistry with Julie Pinson & hope the writers continue to explore their relationship. I also love the way the whole story is being handled, Janet & Katie are realists, Jack & Brad just want everything to go back to the way it was (ain't happening guys). Also love Ugo,
Most importantly: EMMA'S BACK!!! God I love me some Kathleen Widdoes! From the moment she stepped back into the Snyder kitchen she has provided the viewer with so much entertainment. Her disgust with Paul & his marriage to Meg, her finding out about Holden & Lily (& Carly) from Lucinda (I love when the veterans are allowed to be in scenes together, so much chemistry). Her straight forward, no BS, handling of Jack inviting Janet to stay IN HER HOUSE! More, more, more!

What a chilling episode on Friday! After watching Alison walking into the lake, I began to wonder if maybe it was brought about by what Chris said he experienced. Chris had mentioned he got naked because his skin felt sensitive, and he couldn't stand clothes touching him. Do you think that's why Allison walked in the lake? Like maybe she was experiencing the same thing and needed to wash off whatever was irritating her? That or the whole town is becoming possessed, haha.

I just read a spoiler regarding the Poisoning S/L, and if ATWT does this right, I think ATWT has their Emmy win in the bag. This is going to be so great!

They'd better actually submit TWO good episodes with this storyline, so they can be assured of a win.

you and me both. i have never forgiven her character for how paul treated emily at the expense of her. but she's a terrible actress, but she looked good around terrible other actresses like justine(ex-sophie). she's not that far off.
Today had the potential to be really good, but it just came off as really campy and cheesy. And the writing. Wow, was that awful.
Rick: Paul, did you leave the helicopter where you left it? Um, what?
I kept yelling for Margo to shoot Meg, but she didn't. Now Tom's having a heart attack and Margo actully uttered the line, "you're a doctor, don't just stand there, help him" to the guy who she is pointing the gun at.
On the bright side, maybe Aaron will die tomorrow as they showed him getting shot, and take Ali and Meg with him.

The show is advertising on Perez Hilton's site but no Luke and Noah. What's really going on?
I wish they would stop focusing on the gay angle and just write a good story for the boys. But this is Passanante we're talking about. She should've been axed a long time ago!

Aw, you think? I really found it kind of exciting! I like how quickly the episodes have picked up steam. They really plunged headfirst into the posioning storyline. I like it!
Fun fact, I actually read the helicopter scenes were done with no CGI, but actual footage instead. Wonder if Paul actually flew it...

I loved today's episode. The black & white was wonderful & very effective. I'm usually not a fan of characters singing but Alison's song was very lovely & used perfectly. There was such a feeling of sadness over the second half of the show that I was really taken aback. Ellen Dolan has been on a roll lately & again it was nice to see more than two vets on one ep.
