It was good, but displays the same problem that everyone seems to say about when days actors cry "no tears" ppl thoughtm kristian alfonso would not get a nom for zack's death becuz they didn't see enough tears, not everyone has tears streaming down their face when they cry, and can still act, this is a very good scene for her, and she deserves a nom for it, just as much as alfonso should have been nommed for zack's death, i'm rooting hardcore for melvin to win, because she deserves it, but i would not be upset to see storms win, because she has a good reel, and i do think she's a good actress.

I have the original episode on tape and I can assure you that her tears are clear and present. It is simply the quality of the youtube video that does not allow them to shine as much as her overall performance.

I'm very happy wth KS reel that was clearly the best she had all yr outside of the scenes where she tried to pull the plug on Logan.She has a great chance.
RM was very good to though I'm suprised she submitted that since it was mention that there were scenes wth Bo before the operation that were her strongest.
So Its going to come down to KS&RM I'm pullin for KS but I be happy if Rachel one instead.
Do you have to submit 2 to get the nomination? Is the winner determined by one reel or 2?
Cause I remeber JMB losing based on the second reel she submitted.

I believe it's only one episode this year. The winner is already chosen, since there is only one round a voting. Whoever got the most nomination votes is the winner.
Im now seeing on a whole bunch of other sites where people are saying that Bradford Anderson's submission is the episode that aired 6-6-08
Does anyone have a link or something confirming exactly what he submitted, along with something confirming Kirsten Storms? All the others ones we have concrete sources for.

As far as BA goes I couldn't tell its what his fans have been sayin that he submitted I'm not sure if it was posted anywhere on a site.Though he may have submitted 2 reels thats my impression.

My fault. Bradford didn't submit that day for the emmys. He told his fans that is what he was going to put in but he must have changed his mind. According to SID he says he picked the episode after Spinelli and Maxie see Sonny and Kate having sex on the desk. I'm not sure which date that was.
Just to let you all know Bree Williamson submitted Nash's funeral episode. It was in SID what she submitted. How do you think this episode stacks up against Melissa, Julie's or Alicia's? Tamara's we do not know yet.I honestly think Bree has a great chance with this episode. I watched the four reels. Alicia's was good, Julie's was just okay, Melissa Claire Egan's very good but Bree's reel is very interesting. Her reel is long because of Nash's funeral but it has that showy performance at the funeral but then concludes with Jessica's breakdown where she is more subtle as she is breaking down. It's an excellent contrast and I thought it was the best of the four I saw.

Hey Johnny! I would love to see both Susan and Bree win since OLTL will be shut out everywhere else (as Frank and Ron) have a bizarre hardon for that STUPID Who the Hell is Shane's Father episode. I still can't get over their stupidity in their selection!! It cost them a true shot at Best Show. If they submitted that moronic episode for Best Writing, they screwed themselves out of THAT emmy too...as they would have Best Writing in the bag- even against B&B..
