what is she doing these days? is she pursuing a singing career? i have heard nothing about her since she left atwt. i even thought she wasnt cut out for primetime, especially if sarah brown wasnt, and jl is no more attractive than she was when she left gh(landon is a natural beauty but not porn star pretty like primetime wants-sjb when she left gh in 01 was the same way and now she's sexy but over 30). she needs to get back in daytime because just because she is the daughter of one of the late great tv actors of all time doesnt automatically make her a default pick-up in primetime or music. i dont believe she would be passed on by any soap so she obviously hasnt been looking around. daytime needs someone like this.
Its only been a year..give her some time..sarah michelle gellar left AMC in 95, but didnt land "buffy" til 97...plus im sure michael landon left her a large trust fund where she can be very choosy about which roles she want to be apart of..
There are too many up-tight gay people on this borad..They need to get laid.. holla at me and if your in my area maybe I can help you out..
i hated her when she won the emmy over julie berman but when i actually took the time to watch her work, she's pretty good, amazingly beautiful and she seems like a genuine person, and she's a good singer, love that song "i saw love", i hope jennifer lands someting good.

You know, Jennifer Landon broke my heart her first year on ATWT, especially as Gwen learned her baby had died. She was very good and deserved that Emmy. The second year she was still very good, but she'd been put in a leading role and most of it was her marriage to Will and overcoming their obstacles and starting her singing career. She had some good moments and probably deserved the second Emmy. Her third year on ATWT was full of misfires. From Evil Adam to the silly conception of Cleo. It was borderling ridiculous. I'm not sure she deserved the third Emmy.
GIVE MERYL #3!!!!

she didn't deserve it, you know it as well and i, and everyone else who will or won't admit it, that RACHEL MELVIN deserved the emmy last year!!

I agree that Landon deserved her first two Emmys, but the third -- no. Granted the writers did her no favors, but she was awful as Cleo and by no means deserves to have an Emmy for that year of work. Who deserved to win instead I can't exactly say. I don't remember who else was nominated or what material they had.
"A movie is not good because it arrives at conclusions you share, or bad because it does not. A movie is not about what it is about. It is about how it is about it: about the way it considers its subject matter, and about how its real subject may be quite different from the one it seems to provide." - Roger Ebert, from the introduction to "Awake in the Dark" (2006)
Rachel Melvin was the best of last year's nominees, but it was a pretty bad set of nominees. Kirsten Storms and Alexandra Chando would have made it a more competitive race.
