I'm not fond at all of what's been happening with the camera work on this show. But what was really laughable was Ronn Moss the day he turned off Eric's ventilator. Who could possibly think it's a good idea to put him in a scene by himself where he basically just tries to conjure deep emotions? Good heavens it was awful.

Yep....i second that. This isn't "Laguna Beach", Brad.
Go back to the old Hollywood style of filming. B&B is the most gorgeously produced soap on daytime, don't **** it up with all these MTV-Style camera shots.
Is it any surprise that the best back-to-back episodes that B&B has had in weeks are episodes with little-to-none of Nick/Katie and alot of Forresters, especially Susan Flannery? Take note, Brad Bell. I would say the majority of B&B fans will never accept the propping up of The Logans as B&B's core family. I know I won't.
The end of last week was so much better than the months before it. Bringing Stephanie back in has completely re-energized the dynamics of things. Watching Steph and Felicia spin conspiracy theories about Owen, Donna, and Marcus was kind hilarious. They were saying things that kind of didn't make sense, but saying them so convincingly!
Man today's episode was beyond bad. First off poor Jen Garies. Girl covered in honey sent my mind into dirty thoughts territory but that was just me.
The only ppl. who shined today was Brandon Beemer and the Queen of Cheesiness Alley Mills, but other than that B&B is going into that horrible rut b4 a good storyline comes to fruition (Brad you make my head hurt). They have done it many times (ie. Stephanie's Abuse, Who Shot Stephanie?, Storm's Suicide, etc.).

I honestly have no desire to watch BB right now. The current state it is in is just absolutely ridiculous. This show has always been campy, but now it's beyond that... almost cartoonish. What happened to the great stories which huge fallouts? 2002 and 2003 were great years. Brooke and Deacon's affair, Sheila's return, Bridget finding out about Brooke and Deacon via baby monitor, Taylor's death, Bridget's feelings for Ridge, Brooke dumping Ridge at the altar, Ridge's paternity coming out.
Where has all this great drama gone?! Now there's poison storylines, illigitmate children, bear attacks, lemon bars, etc. Whatta shame...

Today's episode was like watching a bad play. The acting and writing was really terrible. The only person I thought rose above this mess was Jackie McInnes Wood. Like I have mentionedm earlier it is painful to watch Ronn Moss do drama. I did not watch the last couple of minutes b/c we had a new interruption about a wildfire and all I can say is thank God. Emmy speaking the only person so far that should even be mention for any type of award mention is Jackie. Still waiting for the Tylo scenes and hopefully she and Jackie's performances will make up for a so far lame storyline.

I have to agree, Brad Bell took a potentially blockbuster story and has already destroyed it in just 2 episodes.
First, why was everything done in slow motion and with no dialogue?? It's almost like Bell didn't want to subject his audience to all of the bad acting with words.
He could have milked this reveal out over a few episodes had not every B&B character been in one room.
And i had a glimmer of hope for Ronn Moss' performance, but that went out the window pretty damn fast.
From the previews, it looks like Stephanie is blaming Rick for everything, which brings me to my next point.
Mama Forrester has raked Brooke over the coals (mentally and physically) for years, especially over the fact that Brooke was a whore of a mother for sleeping with her daughter's boyfriend, but yet, St Taylor sleeps with her daughter's boyfriend (ex), and Stef tells Taylor, "it's OK, your daughter will forgive you and everything will be OK."
I sure as hell hope Brad Bell writes a scene addressing this....having Brooke rip Stephanie and Taylor a new one for all the things they said about her and her treatment of her daughter. Taylor is every bit responsible for Phoebe's death than anyone else.
No doubt this story will propel Taylor back to the booze and Ridge and Brooke into Nick's waiting arms.
Here we go again!!!!

I am really sorry to say this but the acting on this show is atrocious.
Susan Flannery cannot carry these horrible actors.
Ronn Moss has not shed one genuine tear yet, the shick today crying over Steffy was appalling- She made crying noises, scrunched her face, sniffled and DID NOT SHED A TEAR. Hell the show didn't even bother with fake ones.
I really thought this storyline would bring this show back, but the acting is destroying it.
MarkPGH- I love your posts but wonder how you enjoy this show anymore... You are very complimentary generally.. I sat and LAUGHED today like I was watching an SNL skit.
Very frustrating as I once really enjoyed B&B.

OH MY GOD MARK! I just saw your post right before I wrote mine!!!
EVEN YOU HAVE GIVEN UP!!!
I didn't want to be rude and totally trash the show but now I feel I now can, and must:
Completely terrible performances and subpar, corny scripts. This storyline is over before it even begun. And I am sad to say that the weak actors did the most to destroy it.
But once again- Flannery did prove again she is the best actress in daytime. I LOVED her today. She FEELS it. She doesn't try to "act" it. The tears in her eyes are effortless. It makes me mad that I watch this garbage just to see her.
And Heather Tom, darling-
You know(deep down, ya know you do), and I know that you can do better. Get back to Y&R. I am over Heinlie in YOUR role. And now is the time to go home to Y&R.

Yep...as much as i love my Susan Flannery and Katherine Kelly Lang, even i am getting fed up with the trash Brad Bell is putting out these days.
Yesterday's eppy ended with Taylor finding out Phoebe died...
Today, Hunter Tylo was no where in sight!
When a major character dies, you expect a huge payoff dramatically in the reveal....and correct me if i'm wrong, but wasn't it Tylo herself who suggested this story??
Even Jacqueline McInnes Wood (Steffy) couldn't muster up a grieveing performance to save her life. All i saw on her face was a runny nose (no tears).
Was Brad Bell trying to recreate the superb job he did with Storm's suicide??
If he was...he failed miserably. So what could have been a real tearjerker for the audience was nothing more than a lesson to aspiring daytime writers on how NOT to write a death scene of a major character.
Brad....gotta say this, but you blew it big time buddy!
Mark, I felt bad but I was laughing my ass off the last couple of days.
I kept thinking that THIS is why soaps are made fun of.
I am sorry and I just feel bad that this show would allow these "performances" to air.
And I actually like Hunter Tylo, and honestly, I think she is a quite capable, likeable actress. But her inflated lips REALLY undermine her talents. It is a shame. I actually find the rest of her face work somehwat well done despite her looking slightly plastic. But the lips. Those lips.
But I am still looking forward to her performances because she CAN act. She can show genuine emotion.
I am just disappointed because I thought this was really going to turn the show around.
I miss Sally. I miss the dualing fashion houses. God help me, I miss Sheila.
And what always makes me laugh is that this is the most watched soap in the world! And my italian relatives treat these actors like gods.
Ugh.

Are you telling us you thought the morgue scene felt fake? Beg to differ JMW and(even quite surprising for RM)were exceptional during the morgue scenes, cried like a babe . Read the boards obviously u are not really a paisano. no rompe me belle! Ohio Rocks....
The problem with this storyline is that it will lead to the same old thing: adversity for Ridge and Brooke. Rather than playing a realistic beat of what the death of a child does to a family, Brad Bell would rather have yet another round of the same old-same old. "How will Ridge & Brooke ever get through this"--who the hell cares?
AND . SNIFFLE. I was looking up at the . Sniffle. (eyes closed so you can't tell she is not crying.) AND.. SNIFFLE. I WAS LOOKING. Sniffle. AT THE STAR IN THE SKY. Sniffle. AND I KNEW. Sniffle. THAT STEEFI AND I WERE LOOKING AT THE. SNIFFLE. SAME ONNNNNNEEEEEEE!
Cut to next scene. Her hair is strategically messed up. So you know she means business.
I WANT HER TO -SNIFFLE- TO BE WITH MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
===OKAY, where the F-CK is Hunter Tylo?===
Goodness gracious.

Taylor is loaded behind the wheel and kills Darla....
Phoebe is hysterical and causes Rick to crash, thereby killing her...
If i were Steffy and Thomas, if i had to go anywhere in LA...i'd take a ****ing cab.
OK...the only thing that is keeping me tuned in to this car crash of a show (no pun intended dear Phoebe), is to see Susan Flannery and Katherine Kelly Lang go at it once again.
