If ATWT, or any show for that matter, would bring Lynn Herring back to daytime, they would gain me as a full-time viewer. Or at least as a viewer of the days when she is on.
I thought of something. I'm sure its too late to do now, but maybe for next season of GH: Night Shift. Bring back The Nurses Ball. It could be a two parter, using all the Night Shift cast, as well as a few GH vets. Plus, by having it on Night Shift, it could be fun, entertaining and light-hearted, which are three things that aren't allowed on GH Daytime.
Finally, someone at OLTL woke up and realized that Justus Boldig isn't making the grade as Sarah. Now, who should replace her? Maybe Lauren Woodland?
Graz bolting Y&R would suck, but I can definitely see it happening. He's a very talented actor with a unique look. I could see him hitting it big in films.
Emmys:That sucks that they couldn’t have the Guest Acting Categories (these categories could’ve rejuvenate this award show). Hopefully they will go back to the 2 Prenominees from each show.
AMC:Praise him that AMC Lead Actress Alicia Minshew is taking a break that she has deserved.. Nice to know that the casting directors at AMC woke up and started to take their jobs seriously (Can’t wait to see Laura on AMC). Hopefully Budig will find work, b/c I don’t blame her for hoe the Frons got her back. KARMA’S A BITCH!
ATWT:Congrats to Billy Warlock for landing a role on Damages. My thing about the ever recasting of Craig Montgomery is that I have liked all of the Craig’s. All of them brought something different (in a good way) to the role and I can’t wait to see what Jon brings to the role.
Days: [i]I knew that Tomlin being at Days he will bring all of the Passions folk w/him (hopefully Lindsay Hartley & Ben Masters are next in line). Here’s the thing I get why they would want JER back (the ratings jump and his stories to rejuvenate a boring show), but I can not forgive what he did during his last stint. He came on to the show under the same situation, had a great umbrella storyline, brought the ratings to #2, but the resolution to that story was so dumb and it produce a string of storylines that lasted too long and the summer of 2004 was one of the worst summers for that show storyline wise. (Shawn Douglas in a cage, Charity Rahmer, the Dead Ppl Island, etc) I wouldn’t prefer Reilly to come back based on what I mentioned, but I would get why the show would see that as the best alternative right now. And maybe now that he’ll be HW at one show it’ll be better this time around and hopefully they will bring on a strong Co-HW that balance Reilly out and have Days be a decent show.
OLTL:The thing about Justis is that she was OK, but she isn’t Tina Lord’s daughter. First off she is stick thin and I would imagine that Tina Lord’s daughter would be a voluptuous vixen, not a stick blonde.
Y&R:Michael Graziadei will be moving on to greener pastures if/when he leaves this show.
Blind Item:I think the HW is Dena b/c the writing is on the wall for her.

I agree with east/west on thinking the mystery HW is Dena Higley, and I also thought maybe the drunken outspoken star was Bryan Datillo, who we know was drunk and went on stage with GH at the Emmys.
I have such mixed feeling on Reilly. The show isn't very exciting right now, but what he did after the serial killer storyline was just horrible. I do, however, love that he writes for the characters that fans like to see, and I think he understands them pretty well. I was really cheering on the Bo/Hope breakup after Zack's death, and I'm such a big fan of them together. Reilly certainly has his moments.
It would be a shame for OLTL to loose Andrea Evans again, but maybe that's part of the show getting back to what it was when Carlivati first took over. His work really went to hell once Andrea and Susan Haskell were back on the show, largely because of the stories he was writing for them. Maybe this is for the best.
And I shed no tears over Justis Bolding, who at first I thought was okay but then came to really dislike in the role of Sarah.
It's good to hear that ATWT did ask Hunt Block back as Craig. I really liked him in the role, but I'd definitely be willing to give Jon Lindstrom a chance.
Maybe with Reilly possibly coming to DAYS, Rebecca Budig would be a good recast as a bitchier version of Carrie Brady. (Not that I don't love Christie Clark, but depending on her availability, what they want to do with the character, etc.)
As much of a flop as her return has been thus far, I still don't want Andrea Evans to leave OLTL. If they would just get her away from Bree Williamson and Melissa Archer and into to some story with characters that Tina has history with, it would be so much better.
I'm surprised they actually pay for her to fly back and forth. It seems to me that expense would fall on the actor if they want the job bad enough. I guess maybe paid travel is a negotiable contract perk.
Perfect opportunity to get rid of Battle Boy, who can't act his way out of the box the snake came in. It could have also reignited the Forrester/Logan feud.
As for Graz leaving. That character has never been the same since Cassie's death. Grazzy is getting older and like hottie Cane, those dimwitted writers insist on saddling these talented actors with juvenile stories.
As much as i love ya Graz, i say run like hell from those CBS studios. Primetime is waiting for ya!
COMING SOON.....my full fledged, no holds bar critiques of B&B and Y&R, and as always, i will hold nothing back.
Mike Denney and Kathryn Foster are back at Y&R as directors. Mike Denney's first episode back airs Monday in the US. Foster's will likely air at a later date.
A few weeks ago, they left DAYS after Ed Scott's firings, as Nelson reported.
Nelson, dude, Thanks so much for your reporting as always!
Thanks so much for clearing up the whole casting drama that was ATWT's Craig Montgomery. So they did try to get back Hunt Block?? At least they TRIED!
But I'm so please to look forward to Lindstrom's take on Craig. I'm so interested in watching his interactions with the ATWT ensemble! This will definitely be worth watching.
As far as the Guest Staring category goes, bummer. But I can sort of understand where they're coming from because how exactly will they define Guest Staring role? I guess that would open a can of worms.
In my estimation, I don't think an actor who comes back to reprise his/her role for a short time qualifies. I think, for example, the fabulous work of Michael Gross on Y&R would qualify. But this is a non-starter point.

Nelson, so ever since your report revealed that ATWT did try to lure Hunt Block back as Craig, on soapcentral.com boards, we're speculating that his demand was to get rid of Goutman and/or Passanante.
Is this true? If so, PRICELESS!
