THAT IS IT! Nelson, I need to know which star is packing! And I'm not talking a suitcase.
This guy sounds like he is becoming a legend! (There is a blind item about him every week)!
I feel that he is on Y&R, OLTL, or ATWT. I think there was a clue that he was new to the show.. For awhile I thought it was that insanely good looking guy who plays Greg on OLTL, then I thought it was the insanely good looking guy who plays Elijah.... We need a little clue (or a big clue !!

I was under the assumption that the well-endowed man who keeps popping up in the blind items was the guy who plays Scott Chandler on AMC. But that could be wrong.
Interesting stuff. I'm glad the ABC lineup saw a ratings boost. It's good to see anyone's ratings go up these days.
I'm excited to see Billy Magnussen on Tbe Beautiful Life. I wonder which show will last longer, The Beautiful Life or As The World Turns?
And yes, the Crystal Chappell DAYS promo was very lackluster. But I'd rather have a good show with bad promos than the other way around. I haven't seen NBC actually air any DAYS promos in a long time.
I wish Dusay would return to AMC. She was great as Vanessa and her tenure on AMC was unique because she was an actress in her late 50s who was front burner for almost her entire run at AMC, that hasn't happened for years at any soap. Sure Vanessa became cartoony but at least it was well acted by Dusay.
Funny that Nelson congratulated Bree Williamson on getting a spot on "Gossip Girl." The show gets a lot of attention, but it doesn't get many more eyeballs than "One Life to Live."
"A movie is not good because it arrives at conclusions you share, or bad because it does not. A movie is not about what it is about. It is about how it is about it: about the way it considers its subject matter, and about how its real subject may be quite different from the one it seems to provide." - Roger Ebert, from the introduction to "Awake in the Dark" (2006)
I really don't get the AMC stuff about allowing Kaye, Minshew, and Lucci to pre-tape stuff?
I mean eventually they are moving to LA or not and how far in advance will they tape their stuff? I am willing to bet AMC even goes down further creative wise because their seems to be a rush to get as much pre taped as possible.

Just watched the "Imaginary Bitches" Emmy special. Terrific piece of satire about underrepresented minority groups in daytime television, and a sharper piece of writing than anything I've seen on soaps in a while. Can we change the name from "Imaginary Bitches" to "All My Children"? Then we can just ignore that thing cluttering up the 1pm timeslot on ABC.

The day Eric Braeden leaves Y&R is the day i stop watching Y&R.
And for the actors who say they will walk if the show rehires Rowell......i say let them walk. They are probably hasbeen actors anyway who are jealous of Rowell's talent.

i agree that was fantastic. i especially loved the Jessalyn Gilsig apperance! that was PERFECT. I just adore her! she's the star of a big primetime hit and she still makes time for the little web show that could...
Eden was fantastic too and what a cameo by Roger Newcomb and Damon L. Jacob, hilarious.
Praying The Daytime Emmys air on TV in 2010!

East Coast - AMC, OLTL, ATWT West Coast - BB, GH, Y&R
My website and blog are taking a little break, since Geocities is closing and I now have to upload everything to a new site, so I am working on a new design and it is gonna take me a while, hoping to get it up by Oscar Season.

I hope they reveal that Mitch isn't Jessica's father and that Clint is. Otherwise, it's time to bury Mitch Laurence. He ran his course a long time ago.
