Does anybody know what happened to Luke's original co-host, Lisa?
IDK (From what some of the Podcast earlier this yr. indicated it was health problems) I love listening to the other ppl., but Luke and Lisa had that special magic.
If everything is on the up and up I hope for Lisa to return to the Podcast b/c ur is missed girl.

From Days of Our Lives to turns on hit primetime shows and A-list movie roles, Vivica A. Fox has seen and done it all during her 20-odd years in the business. I recently caught up with the fabulous Ms. Fox via cell phone, while she was in Toronto for a 44th birthday party thrown by some of her best friends, including our pal Nelson Branco (TV Guide Canada). Fox talked about her role as Maya on the groundbreaking-yet-short-lived NBC soap Generations and provided inside dish on her new VH1 reality show Glam God with Vivica A. Fox.
Daytime Confidential:First of all, I just wanted to say how great you looked in the pics from your birthday! Vivica A. Fox: Thank you so much! I had a fabulous night. My friends really know how to treat a sister well! Muzik [the nightclub where Fox's party was held] really knows how to turn out a great event. It was glamorous, elegant; I will recommend Muzik to anyone wanting to have a classy affair. It was unbelievable. DC: So let's talk about your new show for VH1, Glam God with Vivica A. Fox. What is the concept behind the show? VAF: Glam God is basically a styling show. We moved 12 stylists into a loft in downtown LA and put them to the test for the chance at a $100,000 prize and their own styling agent. DC: Twelve stylists in one house all vying for the same prize, that sounds like drama! VAF: Oh baby was there drama! (laughs) You will just have to tune in to see for yourself! My stylist, [Fati Parsia] and I had them going through several styling challenges that real life celebrity stylists go through everyday, such as styling stars for red carpet events, dressing A-Listers for movie premieres, the Oscars, the MTV Awards. We also had them do a challenge where they had to style a Hollywood "It" girl for a hot party and the "It" girl damages the dress! You wouldn't believe how many times that happens. DC: How did the show come about? VAF: After I hosted the VH1 Hip Hop Honors, Jeff Olde [VH1's executive vice-president for original programming and production] complimented me on my hosting abilities. He asked if I would be interested in doing a reality show. At that point it all became about finding a show that was the right fit. I wasn't trying to do one of those shows where people followed me around, because I value my private life too much, so when the idea of a reality competition set in the world of glamour came up we knew it would be a perfect fit, because I am all about the glamour honey! DC: It sounds like fun! VAF: Oh it is! I have a Glam Panel, which includes Mel Bromley of Us Weekly, Phillip Block, who styled Halle Berry the year she won the Oscar, and me. DC: Early in your career, you appeared on Days of Our Lives (ex-Carmen) and later landed the role of Maya opposite Kristoff St. John (ex-Adam, Generations; Neil, The Young and the Restless) on Generations. What was it like working on soaps? VAF: Wow, I owe so much to soaps. Soaps taught me work ethic, memorization skills, you name it! When you're on a soap opera, you have 30-40 pages to memorize every day. Not to mention having to hit your marks very quickly, because they don't have time to play with you! To this day, on any set I am on, the other actors can ask, "Hey Viv, what's my line?" and I can tell them because of soaps. Soap actors are very underappreciated for the work they do. DC: What was it like to be a part of the cast of Generations? VAF: Generations was my first contract role. Maya is one of my favorite characters that I've played. Generations was the first soap to equally feature African-Americans alongside white actors. I was really disappointed that NBC didn't give us more time [Generations aired from March 27, 1989 - Jan. 25, 1991]. DC: One of my favorite recurring themes from Generations were Maya's catfights with Doreen (Jonelle Allen) over Adam! VAF: (Laughs) Oh yeah, we definitely had our Dynasty moments! DC: I don't think I had ever seen that done on daytime before with black characters. They were always the noble doctor or lawyer. VAF: We were definitely ahead of our time. DC: Your next soap gig was on The Young and the Restless in 1995 where you had just started airing opposite Shemar Moore as Stephanie. Then you landed a little movie called Independence Day with Will Smith. VAF: Yeah that one [Independence Day] did do pretty good huh (laughs)? DC: At this point in your career would you ever go back to daytime? VAF: Sure! Listen, I don't turn my nose up at work. All I ask is that I play a diva! DC: Well, we've been saying at DC forever that The Bold and the Beautiful needs a black fashionista... VAF: Hey, tell them to call a sista!
Glam God with Vivica A. Fox airs over eight episodes on Thursday nights at 10 pm EST on VH1.

I really did like the Days Podcast (esp. he ppl tlkn over themselves).
I disagree w/Luke & Jamey about making the show over-the-top and that cn't win Emmys (if the story is good it should be rewarded).
And I believe that John should've stayed dead b/c that was some of the best acting I have seen in yrs. from Deidre and Martha Madison should've been nominated for an Emmy for that story.
And Dena should never work in Daytime again and if it is possible make Tom Casiello HW.
