Given that this show is fastly becoming the Days of old again I think it is high time to get this character back on canvas in the form of Greg Vaughn (ex-Lucky, GH; ex-Diego, Y&R). I am going to be blunt given that all of the stuff Sami has gone through why doesn't she has family on canvas? Esp. her twin for Christ sakes! From what I have heard and read about the character he is the good half of Sami and he had a relationship w/Nicole (which could make for a good triangle). And taking an idea from Jamey and expanding on it, if Sami does lose her son to E.J. she can take all of her kids and go on the run for the fall storyline. And she could be talking on the phone to someone and asking if they can hide out there and when they reach that place and knock on the door it'll be her brother!

i think nicole will be going on the run with sydney once the whole truth about this comes out, just to keep her hidden for a few weeks around when her baby is due, orelse she'll get caught and out in jail...but days has a good thing wirh arianne zuker...they'd be crazy to let her go, after this storyline, nicole always ends up bouncing back, just like sami....


i don't think EJ will get sole custody, just from what i have seen lately, but i really hope there isn't some ej/sami love reunion, becuz i have NEVER liked ej and sami together, they don't look good together, maybe back in the day when he first came, b4 we knew he was a dimera...james scott is HOT...but i hate his character...as for greg vaughn...i don't know if i would see him being an eric brady or not...personally i'd rather get jensen ackles back, i loved him as eric!

Jensen Ackles is a little busy now.

I do like the Greg Vaughan idea to bad he is currently tied down to GH who are wasting him.

Brian Presley (ex-PC) would be a great Eric Brady.

Greg Vaughn would be a welcome addition to DAYS, especially since GH doesn't value him.

I'd take Greg Vaughn as Eric, and I'd definitely take Brian Presley. It is a shame the character's been gone so long. I think it was kind of a mistake to have Brady come back instead of Eric, actually. Eric's history with Nicole is longer and more involved than Brady's, and unlike Brady, Eric never seemed to get over her. Since they've basically ignored Brady's whole relationship with Chloe, they would have done better to use a character that didn't have that relationship.

I love me some Jensen Ackles, but he is not coming back to daytime anytime soon. It would be great, though, if he and Alison Sweeney presented something together at the Emmys!

Yes, I like both those suggestions. With Nicole and EJ's marriage inevitably hitting the rocks once the truth about the baby switch is revealed, this would be a good time for Eric to come back into her life, especially since I think despite her still keeping the secrets of what she's done, she's become a much better person in the last year.

Like Marlena, Belle and Shawn should never have been written out in the first place. Belle/Shawn/Chloe/Phillip would have been so much better than Chloe/Daniel/Lucas and bouncing Phillip between Stephanie and Melanie, who are much better off just fighting over swoon-worthy Nathan.
