Isn't Heather just the poor girl who is NEVER right about anything?

Y&R is firing on all cylinders of late and I'm loving it. I love the Adam/Patti pairing. Putting them two together is a bit of genius. It's going to really open the storylines for several people.

Can anyone else see the baby switch coming from a mile away? But you know, I love this kind of crap. I've always said that I don't mind the cliched soap opera storylines because that's what I love about soaps...seeing how these interesting characters react to identical twins, back-from-the-dead spouses, cheating husbands, etc...the thing is, if it's done right then it's fresh and that makes it all the more exciting.

The baby switch thing is so dumb. Just like 65 year old Ashley and 199 year old Victor having a baby is dumb.

What will Sharon do when she thinks her latest baby is dead? Sleep with everyone on the Green Bay Packers? Steal all the vases in the Chancellor Mansion? Kidnap Summer and raise her as her own? Not sure, but it will undoubtedly be campy and stupid.

Yeah, poor Heather. She's always wrong, and she always looks like a fool.

I'm not thrilled at the idea of a baby switch here, largely because I think someone should catch on to the fact that Ashley's pregnancy is hysterical before things get that far. Also, I can't help but think of OLTL's recent baby switch storyline, as these would be so similar: One baby seems fine, while the other either is or will be dead, they are switched so the mentally unstable mother of the dead baby gets the healthy one. Ashley's even calling the baby Hope, which is what Starr named her baby.

But we don't know they're doing a baby switch yet, right? It's just speculation?

They could always abandon, but I think that's where they are going...and again, I don't mind. Think of the performances! The drama. Isn't that what we really live for?

It is very apparent that the executive producer-creator and current writing staff at the Y&R....are reaching to much and believe that their attempts at connecting current storylines with the flaws of the characters, their past history forgetting the history of the story.....first we were "led to believe" that the woman Victor brought back to haunt Jack Abbott was Paul's sister Patty, and not it seems that she may not be Patty?? This whole thing with the real Jill's real son Philip coming back has been a disaster; they ignore him in every scene; he just walks in and they all scream at him; their anger is understood; but its boring and pointless; and on top of this they bring in his new son; Nina's son appears......I hate what the writers have done to this show......Ashley's a walking time bomb.......poor Victor....he's going to crack up too........Gloria and her hubby are comic characters.....good.......but they simply do nothing anymore......where is Michael and Lauren; they are the best couple on the show...............I am sick of Sharon.......Nick........and my hat off to Phyllis for slapping that witch Heather....she is a terrible actress.......she is sickening.......there is chemistry between Paul and Nicky and its because of their history.. their storyline.....writers are you listening....last but not least......now they are killing Lily Winters........... save Lily get rid of Neil's new sidekick......she is boring ......no wonder this show didn't get a nomination for writing this past year......all you have to do is watch it for a week and you see why??????get rid of the writers and whatever remains of the Bell family......do the writing yourself please.....................

Opinions are subjective, but you cannot deny that every soap expert predicted Y&R would be nominated and would win the Best Drama Series Emmy.

That was before their submission was known. I just wish TPTB (at OLTL as well had considered why they were snubbed rather than playing the victim. Even with the bad submission, I'm surprised they were snubbed because they've gotten in and/or won for worse.
