Nelson Trent Dawson was not the odds on favorite to win....his tapes were terrible you may have predicted him but no one else on here did.
also you have to help us with clues...
Which soap actor was recently taken out to lunch at a fancy restaurant and was stuck with the bill by the reporter?
Which younger super-couple is dating in real life?
Which nominated actress’ on-and-off again lover/co-star judged her own category and informed the panel not to vote for her rivals on other networks?
Which two divas are taking their on-screen feud off-screen?
After my blind item a few months ago (that hinted a gay superstar is thinking about coming out), three other gay actors called me up to find out who it was! Are they angling for a date? And by the way, the gay star in question is not who you all think it is!

That means it isn't Van Hansis (even though Perez Hilton outed him after your blind item ran).
Sounds like it might be Tuc Watkins or Tony Geary.
Jacob Young got married & Greg Rikaart and Christian LeBlanc are supposedly still together.

- Kristoff St. John didn't win Younger Actor for "Generations." He was nominated in the Supporting category for "Generations" in 1990 and Younger category for "Generations" in 1991. He would win Younger Actor in 1992 for "Y&R." Is he the only person do ever do this? Start out in Supporting then jump to Younger? Hmm...
- Nelson, LeBlanc's FIRST tape was excellent; his second bombed.
I'll play your game...LOL
Which soap actor was recently taken out to lunch at a fancy restaurant and was stuck with the bill by the reporter? need more clues
Which younger super-couple is dating in real life? Gonna guess Kristen Alderson and Brandon Buddy
Which nominated actress’ on-and-off again lover/co-star judged her own category and informed the panel not to vote for her rivals on other networks? Process of elimination. The following are married: Maura West, Crystal Chappell, Kelley Menighan Hensley, Judi Evans, Tracey E. Bregman. That's 5 out. Leaves 10. I'm gonna cut out Jennifer Landon because she's gone. That's 6 out, 9 left. Gonna cut Jeanne Cooper. 8 left: Nicole Forrester, Michelle Stafford, Heather Tom, Gina Tognoni, Rachel Melvin, Vail Bloom, Emily O'Brien and Tammin Sursok. **Let it be announced one of these 8 are dating a costar, and that's who it is!**
Which two divas are taking their on-screen feud off-screen? Gonna guess Katherine Kelly Lang and Hunter Tylo

So the after parties were as coma inducing as the actual awards telecast. And Farah Fath likes guys who can't read off a teleprompter. Slow news week. At least there were no gogo boys in the after parties. Tee hee!

My guess is that's it's actually Susan Flannery. She's said she plans to retire soon so i have no doubt in my mind that when she does she is going to finally come clean about what people have suspected for years, that she is a lesbian. I mean how long have those Fannie Flagg rumors been circulating.

I know Perez very well and he has never read my Suds Report AT ALL. Um, so no, but thanks for the "compliment." And that's all I can say.
And you guys are still way off.... WAY off... not sure why you all think this person is male, and not female. ANd I won't say anything because I want the exclusive. And I do out people, and have for a long time WITH THEIR COOPERATION. In Canada, I am the only person they come out to. And to be the first journo to help out a major star on their own accord would be so cool for me as a soap fan of this genre. Regardless, I'm writing a MAJOR story on gay stars and the soaps. And I got a lot of quotes from this week!

NELSON BRANCO IS GAY: "I couldn't hide it anymore," he cries!
PS... As for Dawson, the voters I spoke to placed him first which is why I said that. Clearly, I spoke to the minority but I bet he place a very close second. And that happens a lot -- even by one vote.

Well Nelson, outing someone with their corporation is perfectly fine, i am just glad that you aren't the type of jorunalist that would out someone that doesn't want to be outed.
All i know is that i can't wait to find out who it is...

Well, I am a night owl, but I am still in LA — at least until July so it's not even midnight here yet. Wearing a bullet proof vest of course. Bloom and P&G are hunting me down... as we speak! LOL!
I outed Adamo Ruggiero, and a few other Canuck stars. I have a big interview with Rufus soon, too (he's been out forever, but he finally speaks about his lover). I started in the gay press, peeps! And even when I hint or imply someone could be girly, it's because they told me to do so. Read between the lines, sissies! LOL! This board rocks!

No Nelson, YOU ROCK! Seriously please do not even think about quitting daytime coverage. we need you... you are the only one willing to speak the truth and call the executives out for their idiotic actions.

I completely agree. You're basically the perfect daytime journalist. ...If you could just get that interview with Robin Mattson and see if she's ever going to return to daytime. Then give her my phone number so I can die a happy man. LOL, j/k about the "almost perfect." Ur there...That's why u can't go ANYWHERE.
<What would u do if u did leave? I'm just curious.>

Soaps are 1/10th of my income. I write 10, 000 words a week. I have prime time and film columns in Hello, TV G Canada, the gay press and Canadian newspapers, along with freelancing for OUT and TVG USA. Even though TVG pays me a good stipend, it's still peanuts in the grand scheme of things BUT the kicker is that soaps take up 99 percent of my time! Along with 8-9 soaps a day, I have to watch talk shows, about five hours of prime time, three movies a week, and review several CDs a week, plus opera and balle!t. Yet, soaps and the insanity that they inspire makes me stressed out, depressed, and frankly want to kill myself (and I say that as the partner of someone who did just that; so I'm not really joking). I say I'll give this column to Jamey Giddens in a year. Soaps are dead, sorry to say. The idiots in charge are going to make it happen, and sooner than we expect. I thought I could help, but no one can. That's just my insider opinion... I hope I'm wrong.
