Not that I really watch Passions, but with it supposedly coming to an end, it set me thinking, which actors from the show do you think will have a career in daytime or elsewhere after the soap's demise?

For me the possibilities are:

Ben Masters
Juliet Mills
Tracey Ross
...and based on nepotism alone, perhaps Liza Huber

Someone on the MediaDomain board made an excellent suggestion - in that, Ben Masters should be cast as Michael Baldwin's long-lost father, Lowell Baldwin.

The possibilities for interactions - with Christian LeBlanc, Judith Chapman, Greg Rikaart, Peter Bergman, et al - are making me lick my lips.

I hope this is one suggestion that the writers see and act on - before another soap snaps up this future Emmy winner.

My guesses:

Lindsay Hartley (i can see her showing up at DOOL or GH soon)

Galen Gerring

Mackenzie Westmore (can see her showing up at CBS)

Liza Huber (if she doesn't come to AMC i'll be shocked)

and i'm sure Juliet Mills will continue her illustrious career.

I see Westmore and Gering on CBS, Huber and Hartley on ABC and that's about it. I like the idea, tho, of Masters on Y&R.

Galen Gering is rumored to be joining Soapnet's Nightshft in season two as a recast Dr. Leo Julian, replacing Dominic Rains (saw this at Daytime Confidential).

Let's just hope there is a stern director present to reign them in from chomping down Genoa City.

There are two that will have so many shows making them offers they won't know which one to pick: Ben Masters & Lindsay Hartley.

The third is Juliet Mills. Though with her age I don't see how she could come and stay as a major-player. It isn't done a lot, but it was recently, and the lady flew with highing colors. I'm talking about you Alley Mills.

i'd love to see Juliet Mills play a nemisis or friend for Ilene Kristen's Roxy Balsom on "OLTL"... i can just see these two having great chemistry together and can't you just imagine her as a romantic rival for Vicki if she were to go after Charlie!

I think a few actors should do really well. Lindsay Hartley is a great actress who evolved so much in eight-nine years on the show. I hope she ends up on another soap or primetime soon. Juliet Mills and Ben Masters at least, should be able to find decent work if they are seeking it out in daytime.

There is life after Passions for its actors. Natalie Zea was a re-cast of Gwen, but is now doing Emmy worthy work on ABC's Dirty Sexy Money. Travis Schuldt (Ethan #1) also did strong work on NBC's Scrubs.
