Sarah Brown Joins The Bold and the Beautiful

Forget those dreams of Sarah Brown becoming Victoria Newman on The Young and the Restless. The Associate Press is reporting Brown has signed a two-year contract with The Bold and the Beautiful, and will be joining the cast as Sandy Sommers, a character who will mix it up with Nick, Bridget and Whip. Could this have been the role Brad Bell wanted for Gina Tognoni? Interestingly, the character of Whip is portrayed by Brown's former General Hospital leading man Rick Hearst.

I just really wanna see Brown in scenes up against Heather Tom and Susan Flannery.

"Sommers" eh? Will this Sandy be coming to Genoa City has Phyllis sister anytime soon?

I don't watch B&B, but Sarah Brown vs. Heather Tom should make excellent television, if they choose to go there.

I just hope she colors her hair. Either go back to a light brunette or do a blond dye.

This character sounds like on that will erase the bad taste in my mouth of Claudia.

And even though her as Victoria would've rocked I am glad she is a working gal again.

Wow, I love Sarah and I am glad she found work, but why B&B, its like the worst show on the air! Damn.

According to Soapcentral.com, ABC let Sarah out of her contract early. So the last day she appears as Claudia will be Nov. 5, and then she will debut on B&B on Nov. 6.

So, let me guess, GH producers are still big and bad after letting her out of her contract over 2 months early?

Brad Bell already acknowledged this and thanked them.

She picked the wrong soap. She'll regret signing that contract after she sees how much Bell recycles storylines and shoves people to the backburner in favor of hair models.

Well, I'm on the fence with this one. On the one hand, she's a big name, she's gotten Emmy love and if she'll remove Steffy, Jackie, Donna, Katie and Bill off the air, then great.

But on the other hand, this means Bell has no interest writing for Lesli Kay's Felicia, and the dumb surrogate storyline is going to push through.

Jones doesn't have the firepower to go toe to toe with Brown, and Wagner's Nick is pretty much ruined, so throw Felicia in there with Whip and the new girl.

But anything to keep Bill and Katie off the air is great. Those 2 are destorying the show with a romance no one cares for, and terrible acting from Tom, yes Tom and most especially Diamont!

But she must have been expensive, so will some actors be written out or recurring so B&B can afford her? They put Dax Griffin and William Devry on recurring so they could afford Eileen Davidson, so if B&B lets other actors go just so Brown can revive ruined Nick and Bridget, that'll be annoying, unless it's Steffy, Thomas, Rick, Bill and Katie, who are awful.

I'm worried about this because B&B tends to hire big name actors and then waste them, so i'm not sure if this provides her much of a future or not.

A two year contract on B&B= 3 MONTHS ON THE FRONT BURNER AND 21 MONTHS AS A DAY PLAYER

Maybe this will be the final push Lesli Kay needs to leave B&B. They can't write for her but they hire Sarah Brown?? The only way i will accept this story is if she mixes it up with Winsor Harmon's Thorne.

As for her character name....Sandy Sommers!!
Phyllis' last name on Y&R is spelled Summers.

What Brad Bell should do is make this character Darla's long long sister who comes to town to wreak havoc. on the Forresters...who she blames for her sister's death.

They could make her go after Thorne, but all the while, reveal that she is a lesbian who also sleeps with Felicia (because we all know Felicia is gay anyway...hello!!!..Felicia/Felatio......sounds like it to me). LOL

She can play both sides of the fence...and then start gaslighting her sister's real murderer...Taylor, by slipping booze into her drinks, etc.

There ya go Brad...i just wrote that story for you. Keep the actress and character far away from Nick/Bridget and Whip.

I swear it's Phyllis SOMMERS, and naming Summer was just an alteration to her maiden name. Guess not then, LoL!

You are right. It's Phyllis Sommers.

If you go to Y&R's website and go under Michelle Stafford's bio...they list her character as Phyllis Summers Abbott

i hope sjb is written right and she overpowers anything that goes on at gh.

I don't think it matters if its Sommers or Summers. That's a much easier write around than bringing back Taylor and Phillip from the dead or making and then unmaking Kay and Jill mother and daughter.

any chance sarah could pull a tamara for next year's emmy nominations since she could have one show she was/is on voting for her?

i just saw a picture of brown and lad on twitter and lets just say november 20th we will be seeing a different looking sjb.

She's gonna play Sandy Sommers, the surrogate for Nick and Budge, and Whip'll be thrwon in there.

But now Owen wants a baby with Jackie.

If Steffy ends up being Owen and Jackie's surrogate, and a baby switch happens between Sandy and Steffy, then that's it, I'm stopping following the spoilers and quitting everything B&B!
