Pre nominate Down? LOL! I think you've been hypnotized by Beemer's pectorals or Down's cheek implants! The other Lesli is far deserving. And she has zero material given to her! One glance, sneer, look or zinger from LK, and she can mop the floor with Down. And the other B&B women who actually have the material can have severely untalented Down for their organic lunch. B&B would NEVER pre nominate that hack Down. She has to get in line behind the supporting women in this exact order: Tylo, Jones, Kay, Tom, Gareis, Mills and in LAST (and deservedly so) place Down.

Tylo's made Taylor's condescending ways almost into an art form. Jones has the young heroine full of heartbreak schtick mastered. Bell loves rotating Tom and must have a hard on for Gareis. And Mills is the only comedic relief on this dull soap full of incest and granny sluts with their manskanks for pay. Making out with a 29 year old and purring does not equal good acting. B&B puts looks before talent, and Down is the least talented of the supporting women, which means she's AWFUL. What's next, a suggestion that Beemer gets pre nommed for playing a manho gold digger? LOL!

You can thank the brilliant mind of Brad Bell for their ratings dive! Is he surprised? He recycles Brooke/Ridge/Taylor like it's good for the environment and he put the Empress of hacks Lesli Down and buff but souless Brandon Beemer on the front burner, 2 untalented actors who play gross, unfunny characters. On OLTL, Maybe RC can finally redeem himself and not screw this up. It'll be easy to explain Fish's previous liaisons and crushes on women. A number of gay men I know have experimented with, were turned on by women, but still consider themselves gay. It would be a modern take, so yeah, scratch that. And his crush could be more of admiration that translated into a crush. Tons of gay men admire pretty divas which turn into "crushes". The closest straight equivalent would be a bromance crush. And good for Evans to be out. He should share tips with Leblanc, Shackelford, those butching it up boys of B&B and Adam Lambert! LOL! and lucky him to be nearly as sexy as his human torch brother Chris Evans!

The cast is talking about nominating Down; didn't you see her scene last week? It rocked. She's loved in the business — it's not out of the realm of possibility. Hell if they pre-nom Ronn Moss anything is possible.

Very cool of you to site Lesley Anne Down for an Emmy pre-nom. Along with Kathleen Noone, I thought Down should've been nominated for her work on Sunset Beach, which was just camptastically fun. I'm glad she's finally getting used on B&B after being ignored for years. Maybe there's hope for Lesli Kay and Winsor Harmon to get some storyline fun too in the near future.

And is it just me or is 'Rafe' like the new IT name for guys on daytime?

Nominating her for what, most unique way of pronouncing "anything" or "****y little buggah"? LOL! No wonder B&B keeps dipping and Daytime's going to hell in a handbasket. If the cast actually thinks she represents the best in daytime or even on B&B, then they must be doing lines of blow on the craft services table with Paula Abdul. This is the funniest breaking news ever!

Moss has been on there since day 1. And B&B is a small cast, so naturally he'll be pre nommed. And with all the Phoebe/Steffy bellowing he does, and since he's on all the time, well duh. Besides, B&B has had 4 supporting actress nods in its more than 20 years (Brown, Conley, Kay and Tom), so even if the cast was foolish or high enough to pre nom Down, that hack would never stand a chance getting actually nominated. If KKL and Tylo can't get nods, and Down does, then yes the Apocalypse is upon us.

It's not breaking news — just an opinion. The breaking news is One Life's gay story.

It's the funniest breaking news ever that the cast is talking about nominating the most untalented supporting actress in their cast.

The Bell soaps are a mess of epic proportions. The cast of Y&R is full of infighting while the cast of B&B thinks playing a granny slut who dresses like a teen hooker and brags about her lover's sexual prowess to her own son is good acting! LOL! Kudos to Evans for having such a good looking brother in Chris Evans! Perhaps Evans can bring a realism to his role, and elevate the potentially terrible RC scripted material.

What is it with daytime writing gays as only becoming gay when they've slept with enough women/men? I'm not optimistic about this storyline since it feels like something they came up with on the fly and it's on the Frons network. The last "gay" storyline on ABC was such a success.

I've always liked Down, and I like her on BB when I watch. She's a nice relief from the Flannery bombast.

Don't see how YR gets an A. Even if I were to accept that the two main storylines are fantastic, the other stories are not working. Hendrickson is a very good actress, but why should I care about her character or the pain she feels? Her character came on as a much more acceptable Stacy, but Stacy nonetheless. Is Vail Bloom still on YR? I thought she'd been let go. Don't think I've seen her in weeks.

But I must say Bianca's coming out was fantastic. Did Agnes Nixon pen it or at least supervise? And Luke and Noah, although on CBS, have managed to become one of the Daytime's best cutesy couple. I loved the scene where they dance together or when Noah teased Luke when he saw Luke's childhood picture. And they were shirtless, glistening and in towels! And how great was it when Jade told Casey how sexy it was for her to watch Luke and Noah kiss. I know tons of straight women who like it when 2 males kiss, so that was a nice touch of realism there.

And what is with all of this "loved in the business" crap. It's no surprise why MTS would walk if this is how you net a pre nom in the Bell soaps, by being popular, "loved" and full of plastic (like Down) instead of being talented and making shoddy material shine.

I'm happy about OLTL pairing Fish and Kyle so I'll excuse the writers for having Fish lust after that twit Stacey!

Some people, if they don't know, you can't tell 'em.

I like Scott Evans's Fish, so I'm glad they'll give him a gay romance instead of squandering him by having him lust after uninteresting female characters. (Layla's a lot better than Stacy certainly, but I'm not grading on a curve.)

It's a little cynical that since ATWT's Luke and Noah every soap seems to want to have its own token gays, like the season's hottest new handbag. Hopefully once the soaps get past the novelty they'll start telling more stories instead of just pandering with one couple on every show.

"A movie is not good because it arrives at conclusions you share, or bad because it does not. A movie is not about what it is about. It is about how it is about it: about the way it considers its subject matter, and about how its real subject may be quite different from the one it seems to provide."

The gay stories seem to be coming more as melodramatic plot twists than having the token characters, to me at least. I like Fish, so maybe I'll tune in to see some of this storyline.

Interesting list of Emmy frontrunners.

I'm glad the DAYS ratings rebounded a bit. It would be great if they passed B&B!

in regards to the gay storline on OLTL..DUH!!!
I mean come one, since day one, when Kyle and Fish shared scenes togehter I know they were goin to be a gay couple. I like them togther.

And Nelson, I think the Tall Actor with the BIG package is Corneilus Smith Jr (Frankie AMC). The cluses are Tall, Newcomer, and east coast actor..So I'm guessing its him..

There are too many up-tight gay people on this borad..They need to get laid.. holla at me and if your in my area maybe I can help you out..

Nelson, i am growing more and more depressed as we speak because Chris Engen is breaking my heart. Damn him!

Friday's eppy was Y&R's best of the year, and seeing our deranged Adam don that wig and purple dress made me think i was watching another Anthony Perkins being born. And i actually think he looked better in that dress than Sabrina did. I would have had Adam in heels and take a tumble down the stairs with Ashley in tow. Can you imagine Adam limping around having to try to explain to everyone how he twisted his ankle??

I am so loving this story...and to think in a matter of weeks, Engen will not be in this story is sickening to me.

And i hope Tonya Lee Williams is sticking around for a while because Genoa City is going to need a good doctor who can treat herpes. Between Sharon's bedhopping, Billy's bed hopping, and now Jack banging Phyllis and Mary Jane within an hour of one another (you go boy!)
This town is going to need a truckload of penicillin on stand by.

As for B&B, i too, love Down and it's about time we see Jackie do something other than talk to Nick about his love life. And how good does Brandon Beemer look in thos tight black briefs??? and shirtless too???? Hose me down!!

If Brad Bell was smart (and we all know he tends to get all blonde on us), he would give Jackie breast cancer and see how Owen reacts to the news. Jackie would try to push Owen away, but Owen would show everyone (including that ******* son of hers), just how much he really does love Jackie. What a beautiful love story that would be.

As for Lesli Kay, i have to give that woman credit. She must really love LA and Brad Bell to stay on a show that doesn't even use her, all but maybe twice a month.

If she doesn't get her own story this summer, she should pull a Chris Engen on Braddy's ass and leave. Ditto for Winsor Harmon.

Speaking of Thorne, i was on youtube yesterday watching old clips of B&B with the original Thorne (Clayton Norcross), and damn, i LOVED him. I know he was a newbie at the time, but he was turning into a good actor when Brad replaced him with the
not so manly" Jeff Trachta....who was way too fem for this role. Norcross was HOT...and he still is. I saw some recent pics of him and he has aged like fine wine. Nel, what was the real reason Brad got rid of him?? And what about Norcross' personal life?? Any info there?

It's so depressing that Engen is out. There's no way in heck anyone play this part like him. Best story on any soap in years and it ends like this? Can't they woo him back with Eva Marcille's salary and a promise to have all of Sabrina's dresses refitted for him? And sorry to be shallow, but MM cannot touch CE in the hotness department.

I am looking forward to the OLTL story but it's too bad that neither character is a Kramer, Buchanan or a Lord. I always thought that Jack Manning should grow up to be gay and take the same teen-age coming out path that Luke Snyder and Bianca Montgomery did.

If you're looking for a guilty pleasure, how about the ladies of the View?

Are there any clips on Youtube of just Kyle and Fish? Since Stacymania took over the show, I have not been keeping up with OLTL and the only clips I find are complete episodes.

Beautiful love story? More like a rip off of a trashy HBO series that spun off into a movie. Besides, how many times has cancer been done on B&B? Caroline, Macy, Grant, Becky, Macy again, etc. And Bell has stated in interviews (although he's very fickle) that Spectra would be light and frothy compared to all the drama going down at Forrester. Trachta was good. Yes he wasn't as cute as swimmer's body with a twink's face Norcorss or as buff as hunky Harmon, but of all 3 Thornes he's the most talented. Oh wait, B&B isn't about talent, that's why shirtless but soulless Beemer and humorless, artificial Down are front and center, as the most revolting cougar arc. How revolting to have your son catch you naked with your boytoy. And Jackie is one demented puppy to get intimate with white trash slut Owen on Nick's desk, while Owen is a gold digging whore who's shameless about it. There is no reason to cheer for this disgusting couple.

Supposedly B&B got rid of Norcross because he was gay...and then replaced him with a gay man...Jeff Trachta.

Yeah syrus, there are many (rumored) gay men and lesbians on B&B: Flannery and Joanna Johnson were rumored to be lovers. Of the men there are Trachta, Norcross and Buchanan. Lowder and Beemer act and talk like they're trying to butch it up. And Beemer is rumored to be more than friends with Lance Bass. There were even rumors about Moss, but I think that was only because of his tacky, wacky fashion sense.
