Anyone know who all the nominees are? Is there only 1 "representative" per soap or, since the shows are dwindling, are there multiple nominees per soap?
I'm guessing obvious guys would be ex Beastmaster Daniel Goddard and Galen Gering. Is Lawrence Saint Victor nominated? He should win this easily.
Brandond Beemer should not win since that might give Bell more ideas that HOwen is becoming popular with the audience. HOwen the money grubbing bitch in boardshorts and Jackie the bitch in heat are major reasons why the show is sinking to new lows creatively and in ratings.

Some of the soaps have one representative and others have two, based, I think, on who got the most votes in a general poll of the runners-up from each show. This year's magnificent offerings are:

Ha. There sure are. Telling Nukies to decide between Van and Jake is like Sophie's Choice. But outside of that, I've always had a soft spot for Daniel Cosgrove since his days as Matt Durning.

I think the person who has the best body out of the ppl listed are Mark Lawson (Brody, OLTL). If that is not inspiration to hit a gym I don't know what is.

Objectively, I think I'd have to pick Brandon Beemer, but who can be objective with soap actors? I liked the voting better last year, when you could rank them. Having to choose just one is so cruel!

Yikes! No Lawrence Saint Victor? At least include him for some diversity. He's very sexy and Primetime soap Ugly Betty even noticed despite GL's low ratings. And where are now Days formerly Passions guys?
Shawn Christian has enduring sex appeal. His semi furry chest and nice, dark tan were great even in his shirtless days on ATWT. I guess he'd get my default vote if I vote since Saint Victor is criminally absent from the ballot. I'm guessing Beemer will win since all he's good at is walking around in his underwear or without a shirt.
Who decided the nominees? Is it the guy that runs soap hunks or did he have a poll?

There was a poll for each show to get the first eight contestants, and make sure that each show was represented. Then there was a vote with one additional performer from each show, who I am assuming were the next highest vote-getters in the votes for their shows. That added four more guys to round out the top 12. Lawrence St. Victor does nothing for me. Sorry!
That's a weird voting system. Anyways I think Saint Victor is the heir to Shemar Moore's vacated throne. Ah well, Daytime's not expected to be good in diversity anyway, which is one of the reasons why its in danger of extinction. Lavosier is kinda chipmunk like for me. Burton's boring. Hansis, Silbermann and Cosgrove are underwhelming. Mathison is is Mr. cra-zay eyes. Beemer looks like he's always pouting for the camera and plucking his eyebrows to give it that villainous sharpness at the edges.
Beemer looks rather feminine. Almost like Zoolander with all his poseur posing and "Woe is me, I'm only pretty and I have no talent" pouting. That's one connective tissue between Beemer and HOwen, both only have their looks. So when will the Adonis/HIMBO "winner" be announced? LOL!

Well, they just eliminated Cameron Mathison (AMC) last night. So we're down to 11.
