Added The Spiderwick Chronicles (* * 1/2) and downgraded The Air I Breathe half a star.
"A movie is not good because it arrives at conclusions you share, or bad because it does not. A movie is not about what it is about. It is about how it is about it: about the way it considers its subject matter, and about how its real subject may be quite different from the one it seems to provide." - Roger Ebert, from the introduction to "Awake in the Dark" (2006)
Surprisingly charming romantic comedy built on a gimmick that shouldn't work but actually is very effective. The film hits deeper, exploring some realistic relationship turmoils, than you would expect. The audience I saw it with loved it and I think it will be a sleeper that builds after it first week/

Added Drillbit Taylor (1/2 * -- that's half a star to be clear).

Added Alexandra (* * *) - Saw this at the New York Film Festival last year, but I just saw on Metacritic that it's distributed to theaters this week, so I thought I'd make note of it here.
