I've decided that I am going to do my own film awards starting from 1970 and going forward. I am going to call these awards the Golden Bear Awards. If anyone would like to be an Academy Member to vote on the awards nominations and wins then please let me know. We will be having nomination ceremonies and awards shows as well using a website. Please pm me or email me at ryannnash@comcast.net if interested. Again, we will begin with 1970 the year of "Patton", "Ryan's Daughter", "Airport", "Love Story", "Mash", "Five easy pieces" etc. Let me know.
The Golden Bear award is the top award at the Berlin Film Festival. Different name perhaps?

I'm open to any suggestions from people. I think that this will be a good thing. If we can get a number of posters from these forums to join this then we can all have a vote in the awards from 1970 to the present and then we can keep doing it each year for the new awards.
