I think both of these movies look great!

Iron Man looks like it could be a massive hit. I can't wait to see it.

The SATC movie, on the other hand, looks like crap. I guess die hard fans of the show will see it.

The Sex and the City movie looks awful. I'll be sitting that one out.

The trailer for sex and the city looks great. People stop hating on it. If you weren't a fan of the show, then the movie is NOT really aimed at you. So why hate on it if you didn't watch the show. And if you did watch the show and loved it then you should see the movie.

For someone who has seen all episodes of Sex and the City, I don't have any expectations for the movie.

i know this would end up like The Simpsons movie: an extended episode of the series.

I'm gonna be looking forward to watch it with low expectations so that I won't end up being disappointed.

I know I am not the only one who felt annoyed by Jennifer Hudson's presenter performance but I almost feel like I am too annoyed over it. It seemed so painful to me...lol!!

GOD! WORST TRAILER EVER!...

I can't believe they basically told the whole movie here....I mean we get to see everybody again, I don't have tha many expectations but whatever...I'll go....And I'll go happy....I might cry....Okay I'm excited...but the trailer sucks....

Oh and I can't seem to get excited with Iron Man. Another one I'll go to...but no expectations either....

People are allowed to give whatever opinion they want to regarding the trailer. If it looks sucky we're well within our right to say so. Oh and I was actually a big fan of the show and have all the seasons on dvd. But while I'm at it, I always preferred Kim Catrall and Cynthia Nixon over SJP, but as a whole it was an entertaining show. horrible dialogue. and an even more horrible delivery.

but i'll admit i chuckled a bit at the whole "growing a forest" joke at the end. i have a feeling it's gonna be Kim Cattrall & Cynthia Nixon who are gonna carry this movie, as they did with the tv series when it was still on.

totally agree. the 4 girls all look so glamorous. Jennifer Hudson, no matter how much makeup and designer clothes you put on her, is just so... NOT.

yeah. but at least people aren't making jokes about Close & Winslet's appearances and their acting skills. at least they're not fashion roadkill all the time. at least they can play very challenging roles that require depth. at least they don't have to settle for playing an assistant in what seems to be a forced movie version of a tv show... with corny dialogue to boot.

i think Hudson's next 2 film roles should be:
-a live action version of "Animal Farm", with JHud as Napoleon.
-and a musical version of "King Kong", with JHud as the singing Kong.

i'd pay good money to see those films. and she could totally win ARSCARS #2 & #3 with those roles.

Did I not call this? This thread is going to turn into the new "let's bash Jennifer Hudson" Thread. First of all, does anyone maybe want to look at it this way, maybe Jennifer's role is suppose to be out of place for the purpose of Carrie Bradshaw taking her on as a PA and helping her find her style! OMG! That might work, who knows, we haven't seen the film, so we have no idea what Jennifer is going to do in the film.

And FAT jokes, awesome! I didn't believe that these boards could get any lower. God with this and Tom's Marion Cotillard report, we should switch from the LA Times to US Weekly or The National Inquirer.

I just wish Jennifer would wear clothes that are more flattering to her physique. That white dress that she wore to this year's Oscars wasn't right for her. Her bosom was squashed in the top half. It didn't look nice. Same thing with her dresses on the award circuit last year. One of the dresses that she wore (the burgundy looking one) was an embarassment. Her boobs were lopsided. Just wear some flattering outfits and/or undergarments. Girlfriend needs a new stylist pronto if she decides to continue to be in the spotlight.

Bottom line, I have no issues with her weight whatsoever and wouldn't care if she went on a diet and ended up with a body like Sandra Oh. It doesn't matter if she is obese, fat, chubby, average, skinny or malnourished...She'll always be one of the worst "Ar-scar" winners ever!

A mediocre actress in a mediocre looking SATC movie. Can't wait for this one.

Kim Cattrall must be loving the poster for the movie.

Seriously though, I think all 4 ladies deserved a spot on the poster. The show wasn't a hit solely because of SJP. It wasn't SJP that kept me watching. I think her importance to the show was overblown. The other 3 were much more of a joy to watch. IMHO.

I also think that SJP won a few too many Golden Globe award wins.
