Heres a wonderful insite on Oscar winner Russell Crowe in Sony Magazine. (I don't care who dosen't like me posting it here). He's an Oscar winner isn't he? Lots of other unrelated posts here!

I'll admit to being one of those 90 but I only clicked on to see what insults were thrown your way for wasting space and time. I'm sure many others were doing likewise. I never even read the Russel Crowe article this post is about.

Too bad...it's really very interesting and well written!

All those in favor of the moderators instructing Mikead to place all his Russell Crowe items in one on-going thread, but otherwise not starting any new ones, please indicate below. Maybe they will listen to the will of the people.
We have single threads for most movies; for box office results; for new production news. There are lots of precedents - why not insist on this for Mikead and Crowe?
The Grammy forum (I believe the Daytime TV forum as well though that is not my neighborhood) is full of threads for individual artists so I agree that an individual Russel Crowe thread is probably the proper way to go.

Put me down as another in favor of one continuing thread for Crowe (rather than many).
Although I think that Russell Crowe is a terrific actor and one of the best around, I prefer to view Crowe through his films than through multiple threads about him. Also, in this forum, the Crowe threads degenerate so quickly into hype and resulting name-calling - what's the point?
I third (or fifth, I lost count) that single-thread notion. Organization is key to keeping order, Mikead.

Perhaps I am alone in this, but I am for leaving Mikead alone. We KNOW what he's like when it comes to Maximus Meridius. We can choose to not read his posts or we can read them and shake our heads. Or, maybe even be interested by them ( . That's Mikead. He's allowed to be, Mikead isnt he?

I have no problem with Mikead posting his most inane Crowe posts. The problem that I, and many others have, is starting a new thread for each and every one of these inane posts.
That's a big difference - it's clutter, and if it spreads, makes the site far more difficult to navigate.
Wowee! I didnt know that. I'd better start having more problems navigating the site!
You (likely on purpose) missed the point - one Mikead and his repetitive threads isn't that big a problem, but if we had 20 obsessive fans doing the same for 19 other stars, it would be.
