I'm for anyone winning more than one Oscar, esp if they happen to deserve it. lol.
It drives me crazy, this notion of "spreading the wealth". If an actor's work is up on the screen, and it's great work, let them win, regardless of how many others they've won before. (go Meryl!)

Aww. Aren't you super lucky? WISH GRANTED!
I hope The Office wins as Best Comedy Series for this year's Emmy Awards.

I actually agree with this. The only time I'm for spreading the wealth is when there are two bravura performance and I'm torn which to choose.

I wish Vanessa Redgrave would get the chance for the type of lead role that could her a second Oscar.
Thanks seanflynn! :-)
Yes, there are many actors who have won in supporting and will make me uber happy had they also won in Lead like Vanessa Redgrave, Benicio del Toro, Judi Dench, and Cate Blanchett.

Julie Christie Cate Blanchett Ben Kingsley Vanessa Redgrave(and it must be a lead one) William Hurt Adrien Brody(only if he's as good or 1/2 as good as he was in the Pianist) Benicio del Toro Alan Arkin(maybe) Penelope Cruz(I hope she ends up with a lead and third) Faye Dunaway(if she got a good role in a good film and gave a performance the level of her work in "Network" or even "Barfly")
Kate Winslet (she should already have 2 Oscars..) Jamie Foxx (he was fantastic in 'The Soloist', in my opion, hope he quits making crap like 'Law Abiding Citizen'!) Penelope Cruz (she's just getting better and better) Cate Blanchett (why not? Worthy!) Julia Roberts (odd choice, I know, but she gave a fantastic performance in 'Closer', so with the right material, she can make an Oscar comeback) Jennifer Hudson (I'd love to see her win another Oscar for a non-singing role, just to shut the mouths of the haters) Morgan Freeman (he's always done solid to great work, just a very consistant actor) Anna Paquin (Hahaha! Besides 'True Blood', she hasn't given a very good performance since 'The Piano'. I'd like to see her find the right role in an indie drama or something that can show people she wasn't a one Oscar wonder!)
Obviously, it's near impossible now, but I just know if Heath Ledger were still alive, he'd be capable, and totally deserving.

Don't love seeing actors awardshogging, but I must say Tilda Swinton deserves to have several already.
"Notorious was nice, but it’s not in the color purple range" "Angels and Demons may get nominated for cinematography the imagery was profound" "District Nine will definitely win for best foreign film it made money and everyone loved it" ~ 8movies

As far as awardshogging goes... idk, but there are far more actors that need to have one oscar to their names than actors that already have one and need another.

I agree. I generally root from actors for performances that have yet to win an Oscar and a performance would have to tower over the others for me to want someone to repeat a win.
