Any predictions for weekend box office? It's Easter weekend and this thing's gonna have huge legs at least until the end of April.

The previews don't look half bad either.

The trailer disappointed me when Miss Montana pulls off her blonde wig, with a gesture worthy of Victor/Victoria. I thought for sure there'd be a boy underneath the mop, but no such luck! Boo!

PS: If she's not a boy, what would explain those alarmingly husky tones? Three-packs-a-day and a quart of bourbon?

PPS: It appears we are mired in the muck and doldrums of spring; last weak it was Faster & Bi-Curious, and this weak it's Nebraska Kielbasa: The Movie. In other words, a good time to stay home and catch up on your videos.

Just noticed that this is directed by a British director who in the 90s Harvey Weinstein expected to turn into an Oscar winner.

Peter Chelsom made some mildly original films back then - Hear My Song, Funny Bones - before going the Oscar contender route with The Mighty, then the flop of Town and Country (and worthy effort if flawed), the Serendipity and the Shall We Dance remake. I guess this is supposed to be his comeback.
