Hey, who here would like to play another kind of Oscar game? Okay, to play just create a name for the studio you would like to be. Then select up to five films from 1927-now. Your job is to get your film to win the most awards at the end of the game. Everyone on the boards will be able to vote for the nominee's in each category and will be able to vote for the winners in each category. You may create your own oscar ad for any of your films and post them in this thread.
Please start by posting the name of your studio and the films that you have slated for release. You may post a link to the trailer of your film, or you may create one on your own. I will be rewarding points based on the number of nominations your studio accumulates and the number of wins your studio accumulates. The studio with the most number of points wins.
Very good job. Looking forward to this. Also, those people who don't want to create a studio can create theie own film critics awards or their own awards, so the winners will be able to campaign and use your awards to maybe help them or not. Make it fun.
Here is the trailer to our first film release. "Sweet Films" is please to present our presentation of "Anna" starring Miss. Sally Kirkland. This is the story of an over the hill actress who is out of work and when a young immigrant comes into her life, nothing will ever be the same again. Please enjoy the following trailer of our film, "Anna".
You may start your movie studio no later than this upcoming Friday. Then, you must release all of your films no later than Tuesday night also by Tuesday night you must submit to me a listing of what category you would like your actors to compete in. Remeber, it's all up to you where they go. Once I've gotten a complete list, I'll email out the whole listing of films to the people who will be voting on the awards. Below is a listing of the categories that you can compete for, there will be six nominee's in each category.

There will be no documentary awards or animated film awards, if you choose one of these films as your film then they will compete in the same categories as other films.
When you have your films selected and you know all of the nominee's you would like to submit then email it to me at:

I look forward to playing this game. Also, if you would just like to be a voting member for the Oscar's of this game, then you can join the academy by just sending me an email saying you would like to vote on the awards. Again, let's have fun. Good luck to all.
Manavendra K. Thakur says, " Her (Sally Kirkland's) lead performance in ANNA would be one of the few truly-deserved Best Actress nominations in recent years."
This sounds great, but I don't think I'll build a studio. I'll make up an award.
The Golden Fish Awards will be held this Sunday night. I'll nominate the films and people that have been released up to that point, so good luck everyone.
