Anjelica Huston in 'The Witches' (even though she was obviously nominated for 'The Grifters', i thought she was even better in it). She was actually scarier in the scenes where she wasn't in 'monster' form. awesome, charismatic and frame stealing performance
Really?? I thought she was laughingly bad in this, particularly in the kitchen and basement scene....
The kitchen scene was robotic acting..but i thought she was pretty good in most of the movie. Especially the bedroom scene with Heather...when Marge told Nancy that she was strong and faced things.

Bulk is one of my favorite "pop up in a small role every once in a while" actresses. She's wonderful in everything she's in (I wish there was more of her in "Almost Famous"). But she's such an odd-looker (that doesn't mean she's unattractive) and she has a very quirky delivery. I hope the rest of her career she's not delegated to popping up as a victim/suspect on any random crime drama.
For Your 2008 Emmy Consideration:
Pushing Daisies (Outstanding Comedy Series) Anna Friel (Ouststanding Lead Actress in a Comedy) Kristen Chenoweth (Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy) Chi McBride (Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy)
Friday Night Lights (Outstanding Drama Series) Kyle Chandler (Outstanding Leading Actor in a Drama) Connie Britton (Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama) Scott Porter (Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama)
Two great performances that showed female descents into madness -- Catherine Deneuve (Repulsion) (already mentioned, I believe)and Angela Bettis (May).
I must admit that I am a fan of the first 'Jeepers Creepers' film... I thought it was completely entertaining and a bit scary at points.
Maybe I'll get reamed for this, but I thought Gina Philips (the sister) was excellent, even better than Justin Long. Am not saying she was award worthy, but she did a damn fine job.
