I know this is a dangerous thread to start in this place, but what the heck, is a cold clody day in Baltimore so let's do it.
This happened to me recently at an unnamed movie, but I've done it several times before. Something in a movie strikes me as funny, even though it isn't supposed to be funny, and I laugh, out loud, AT THE MOVIES! I know it's a bit rude, but I can't help it, some things need to be laughed at. A few examples:
Poseidon (the crappy remake) - early in the movie, the survivors hear a banging sound and are thrilled that they are about to be rescued. Turns out, it's a phone on the ship knocking against the wall. They were dumb, and I laughed, out loud, at the movies.
2 from M. Night Shyamalan - Lady In the Water. The sisters walk in a line with their tools as weapons. It looked so goofy, especially the girl with the shovel. I laughed, out loud, at the movies
The Happening, yikes, several to choose from. Betty Buckley to Mark Wahlberg "You're eyeing my lemon drink". So bizarre, and I laughed, out loud, at the movies.
The Mist, most of it, especially Thomas Jane's reaction at the ending.
Anyone else, or am I the only one to laugh out loud at the unfunny funny?

I laughed at the oh-so-poorly filmed sex scene in "Watchmen". It looks like stuff that plays late at night on cable rather than on a theatre screen and the song "Hallelujah" playing in the background did not work at all. It was a particularly awful version of that overplayed song.
Also laughed in that movie when Malin Ackerman says something along the lines "I can't believe I'm on Mars" and sounds like the ditziest cheerleader in the history of movies. Um, she's not good. Not good at all. Still liked the film overall.

My entire audience laughed at the "Hallelujah" sex scene. It was just so bad so I was happy to see that even the mainstream audience found it laughable.
Another favorite of mine is Meryl Streep's kitchen scene in The Hours. "I SEEM TO BE UNRAVELING!" Just so dramatic and campy.

Similarly I laughed a little during the aggressive sex on the stairs scene between Viggo Mortenson and Maria Bello in "A History of Violence".

Sounds more like an embarrassed titter.
It was fear laughter as I was worried Maria Bello might break her tailbone.

Don't know if it was supposed to be funny, but in The Reader I did laugh in the reading sequence with Hanna crying on Michael's lap and him with the most uncomfortable look on his face, and also when he's reading something sexual to him the look on Winslet's face is so good, and "You should be ashamed.... Go on". Anyway, obviously not a comedy, but I wouldn't say they were unintentionally funny

The final scene in "The Reader" where Ralph Fiennes decides to tell his daughter about his romantic past with Kate Winslet was so awkward if I did not laugh I was at least staring at the screen with a dumbstruck smile on my face.

The last time I unintentionally laughed in a film was during 300 when a decapitated head was flying in the air. I thought the film was ridiculous, and that moment made it all the more ridiculous.
Also, I laughed at the scene in Crash where the little girl was shot with blanks. Seriously, that was hilarious!

I certainly laughed at that one. The most I laughed in Crash (out of several times), was after the shop was vandalized and the woman says -- so dramatically -- "Since when is Persian Arab?" I got dirty looks I laughed so hard.
The sex scene in Watchmen was hilarious. Patrick Wilson's jizz face was the best part. And then one of my friend goes "this is so awkward. She still has her boots on!"
Gran Torino was hilarious too. And not just one scene, I'm talking about the whole damn movie.
Gotta mention Nic Cage in Wicker Man, Ghost Rider, and the National Treasures. Romola Garai in Atonement. Jessica Alba in, well, almost everything but especially Rise of the Silver Surfer. Katie Holmes in Batman Returns. The screenplay from The Core. The cast in Basic Instinct 2.

Although I was really talking about a scene or two, lol, this will work too.
Speaking of Nicolas Cage, I couldn't make it past the first minute or two of Con Air. I heard what he claimed was an Alabama accent and turned it over in disgust.
I caused a laughing movie moment once. I took the boys from church to see King Kong. In the scene near the end where Naomi Watts is in that nightgown in the street. The boys were saying "She's scared" "She's curious" etc. I noticed how thin the gown was and said "She's cold". LOL, childish yes, but they were 15/16 years old. They laughed, out loud, at the movies.
