And why do you choose to agree with Armond White over say Roger Ebert or Owen Gleiberman since you have yet to see the movie?
Apparently by the same token by which you choose to agree with Gleiberman and Ebert (and is there a single person anywhere in the world who thought Ebert would pan this film?) despite also not having seen the film! LOL
I have no idea if I will agree with them. I will admit that. I do know based on past history that Armond White is the critic I am least likely to agree with. It is probably the same for you.

It's beyond fiction writing, you're lying. Pacinofan has never expressed an opinion about Precious, and you know it.
I found it most interesting that Ebert said voters may have a hard time choosing between Monique, Mariah Carey, AND Paula Patton.
If Nine doesnt live up to the hype and Anna Kendrick isnt that impressive in Up in the Air perhaps Precious will get multiple nominations. And that cant be too good for Monique if Moore becomes a bigger threat as the season goes on.
I was surprised Patton was never getting any mentions because she is the one who stood out most to me in the trailer.

Mo'Nique is so obviously better than the other two supporting actresses in the cast, I doubt it would hurt her if one of them just barely slips in. Mariah Carey certainly won't win and probably won't recieve enough #1 votes to even get in. Paula Patton is a possibilty but I just doubt it. Mo'Nique does not need to worry about other women in the cast.

Well I'm happy to see you say this. Hippos have a bad rap, being blamed for killing or maiming more people than any other animal in their region; but I have seen a hippo run over to a human care giver, after years of being apart, and nibbling on her shirt the way he did when he was an orphaned baby.
Ok now I have an image of Oprah doing the same....

Her "*I* love you" got the girl next to me crying when I first saw the trailer. She is one of those faces I recognized, but I never knew her by name. I'll make sure to remember her now, though.

I've seen them in zoos (I won't get started on that) mother and baby swimming side by side... Heartbreaking to think how man has mistreated these (and other) fine creatures.
