I noticed when tracking the films sent to Oscar voters which ones were sent but there were a list of films that I noticed were not sent. Now, these films are not the greatest but they have aspects that may be Oscar-quality, such as costumes, sets, effects, editing, etc. Or a performance that might need to be singled out. This is not scientific just a list of movies Oscar voters did not get.

I do know what Writers Guild members got (and didn't get) -
among those they did NOT get are
Vicki Cristina Barcelona WALL-E Gran Torino Rachel Getting Married Frozen River Wendy and Lucy anything foreign/subtitled Happy Go Lucky
The WALL-E blu-ray release looks fabulous! The quality of the image is extraordinary. I know this film will and should win Best Animated Picture. It is regrettable that it not be considered in the Best Picture category, but this is OK because there are categories for most types of movies. An Oscar for Best Documentary, or for Best Animated, is as prestigious as for Best Picture, IMO.
DGA definitely got Wall-E; weird they didn't send it to WGA too...though I guess it doesn't need the benefit of a screener as much as other films on this list.

Sex and the City and The Other Boleyn Girl had some decent costume designs and though I won't be shocked anymore if they got snubbed, I hope they still pushed through for some of those movies mentioned.
I hope The Office wins as Best Comedy Series for this year's Emmy Awards.

I know a Costume Designer who got The Other Boleyn Girl as a Screener but not sure if it was from Oscar or BAFTA. I know I haven't received half the listed films as screeners. The first screener I received in the post was 'The Visitor'.
