Have not had the time to check back in here in quite awhile now. Last time I attempted to contact (Guru) & wasn't certain (Academy Awards Guru) & the former were the same? Please clerify & when you get an extra sec. please drop a fellow A.M.P.A.S. Guru a line. Correspond with many on & off of any websites as well. & you really seem to know your stats. Have been a fellow student/buff of it's history an annual oddsmaker since I was a teen. Although I rarely agree with their choices still love it & of course it's 81yr history BIG-TIME! Have lots of books/files on them and of course all things film too. As for the summer cinema set for 2009. So far this movie yr has been thee worst since I first started reviewing new releases in 1982.-(started young) Though just saw "Earth" & it's terrific stuff (***1/2) & thought "State of Play" was good (***) However, how flat it's been! As most are well aware on these forums in the past 15-20yrs or so, at least 1 or more summer film makes it into the OSCAR race. So, which 1 or 2 will it be?
