I tried to request seeing Beatrice Straight's win....but at the rate they are going they may do so at some point.

I loved seeing some of those....and I am glad the AMPAS gave in and created the channel.

Yeah, they took down AcademyAwardsGuy's videos. it's better because thye feature the acting clips there.

Too good that I was able to save the clips in my PC and burn them down in CDs. Now I have my copy from 1990 to this year. Lucky me.

I hope The Office wins as Best Comedy Series for this year's Emmy Awards.

It was interesting to see that in 1971, when CLoris Leachman won, Ellen Burstyn & Margaret Leighton weren't there and that Ann-Margret really, really wanted it. And when she lost, her smile was quite fake. Cloris looked liked she knew she was going to win, and therefore, gave one of Oscar's worst acceptance speeches.

When Kathleen Turner & Jane Fonda lost to Marlee Matlin, they did not looked pleased.

I am enjoying watching some of these wins. I just wish they would have Sissy Spacek's Best Actress win for Coal Miners Daughter.

Does anyone know if they are going to be adding to this so we can see other winners or do we think that is all that they are posting. It is awesome to see some of these videos for example how nervous Audrey Hepburn was and how the ceramonies looked like etc.

I requested to see Beatrice Straight's win and they said they will keep adding more and more winning moments and keep my choice in consideration so I suggest sending them a message and it may help something come along sooner.

I was surprised that Ingrid didn't get a standing ovation...

I have to say: Geraldine Page winning is my new favorite moment ever! So great to see a real legend receive an over-due and well-deserved honor!

Just for fun, what would you like to see?

I would love to see:

- Judy Holliday announced as the winner (there were no cameras back then in New York so I doubt it will happen but still...)
- Humphrey Bogart winning
- Grace Kelly winning
- Susan Hayward winning

and many more

If I remember correctly, Maggie Smith was never present when she won both of her Oscars.

No, she was there for one of them. I think it was for California Suite.
