I guess AC/DC will win AOTY, which is fine because "Black Ice" is a solid album but I'll be rooting for Empire of the Sun.

Red Face Ladyhawke has quite a number of noms! I'll definitely be rooting for her. Not much a fan of her voice (I wouldnt have signes this girl based on vocals) but "My Delirium" deserves all its acclaim.

I think Empire of the Sun could potentially sweep. This year could mark recognition of Australian Idol contestants, but I never really cared much for Jessica Mauboy. I'd like Sarah Blasko to win more, but tough luck she's up against Empire even in Best Pop Release. Single of the year could potentially go to Kate Miller Heidke.

Simply Jessica Mauboy will get highest single and I would say pop release. Lisa Mitchell they will give one of the new talent awards too. Knowing that Kate Miller Heidke album charted better 12 months after it was released she will not go home empty handed

Actually, Kate Miller Heidke COULD go home empty handed. She's got very stiff competition in each of the category she's in.

On another note, I think The Temper Trap's "Sweet Disposition" is a very good song. FYI it is submitted for Grammys (Best Rock Song, Rock Group Vocal, ROTY and SOTY). Any chances?

Best Male Artist I'm going to shift from Josh Pyke to Bob Evans (aka Kevin Mitchell).
