According to MadonnaTribe.com, which has been very reliable with early info on new Madonna releases, Madonna's new greatest hits album will be called "Celebration." The first single, "Celebrate," was produced by Paul Oakenfold and will be sent to radio worldwide on 7/28. A second new song, "Revolver," will also be included.

Following the exciting world exclusive news we reported yesterday here, MadonnaTribe has heard more details about the upcoming Madonna single and greatest hits album.
As all our readers know by now, "Celebrate" is set to hit radio waves around the world on July 28th, but those who attended the Sticky & Sweet Tour already managed to hear a glimpse of the lead single from the new Madonna collection titled "Celebration".
"Celebrate" can indeed be heard in the show during the "Holiday" number. As reported here first, bits of both the new single and Madonna's oldie "Everybody" are sampled in the song, although fans should not be confused by the vocals introducing the song (Celebration, Celebration) which are those from Holiday and only a hint to "Celebrate" which doesn't feature vocals borrowed from Madonna's 1983 megahit but it's a completely new, kick ass uptempo anthem in pure Madonna style.
Speaking of new songs, "Revolver" is now the only second new track to be part of the Greatest Hits package, while "Broken", the other track produced by Paul Oakenfold won't be released.
Last but not least, Madonna fans will be happy to know that "Celebration", the hits collection, is a double album!

Is the era for the new Madonna hits going to be ALL of her career?? (Early eightes-today?) Or is it going to be more specific. Her three released greatest hits really do a great job of covering her hits. I wonder what will make this one different, other then being all-encompassing
^ That's what I'm hearing. There's no way two discs can cover her entire career. Two discs aren't enough to fit all of her Top 10 hits, let alone her Top 20 hits + hits that didn't even chart due to ineligibility like "Into the Groove." I'm sure there will be lots of songs missing. There were a lot missing from her past greatest hits CDs (can you believe there has never been a Madonna collection released that includes "Everybody," "Burning Up," "Angel," "Dress You Up," "Where's the Party," "True Blue," "Who's That Girl," and "Causing a Commotion"?). They really need to release a box set already.

Also, i don't understand why they are releasing this in the summer instead of during the holidays when greatest hits packages sell well.
No news on a video yet, although there's a rumor she will be working with a director she's worked with before. That could mean anything though.
The album won't be out any earlier than September. I'm going to guess late September, which is technically fall and will leave the whole fourth quarter for the album to rack up sales and will likely get a boost during the holidays (especially if "Revolver" is released as a second single). "Revolver" will reportedly feature Lil Wayne as rumored. Not sure how I feel about that, but at least it's not the first single.
Also, I heard a while back that Warner Bros. commissioned several of the original producers of the older songs. It's now being revealed that the album will be a continuous mix like Confessions on a Dance Floor, so it looks like they hired the original producers to segue their own songs together or something. The album will start with "Celebrate" and end with "Holiday." These are all unconfirmed details.

Nothing would make me happier than a David Fincher or Mark Romanek reunion! I'm thinking she will go with Jonas Akerlind though, who is on a roll with "Sober" and "Paparazzi."

The last thing I want to do is drive traffic to this slob's website, but Perez Hilton has posted a 20-second clip of "Celebrate." Here's a download link instead:

Blender Magazine on Kelly Clarkson: " The Texas native has one of the great voices in pop music, a powerful and versatile instrument that’s steeped in the rhythm and blues and country music she grew up with in the South. If Mariah Carey’s five-octave voice is the equivalent of an expensively bred poodle, then Clarkson’s is a bloodhound: friendly, earthy, but fierce just the same."
Baltimore Examiner (concert review): "Her sultry voice is absolutely flawless. The tone and range floors you. When she belts out a note, it's precise yet powerful."

Got mixed feelings at first about the 20 seconds leaked but i'm LOVING this and want to hear the full song with lyrics as soon as posible.
Also, here you have the lyrics for the song. Around 20-25 songs from her are referenced on the lyrics, which i think it´s kinda cool for a greatest hit single :-P and there is also a full verse spoken in "Justify my Love" style.
Celebrate
I think you wanna' come over, yeah I heard it through the grapevine. Are you drunk or you sober? Think about it, doesn't matter and if it makes you feel good then I say do it, I don't know what you're waiting for
Feel my temperature rising There's too much heat I'm gonna' lose control Do you want to go higher, get closer to the fire, I don't know what you're waiting for
Come join the party, yeah Coz' everybody just won't do. Let's get this started, yeah Coz' everybody wants to party with you.
Boy you got a reputation, but you're gonna' have to prove it I see a little hesitation, Am I gonna' have to show you that if it feels right, get on your marks Step to the beat boy that's what it's for
Put your arms around me When it gets too hot we can go outside But for now just come here, let me whisper in your ear An invitation to the dance tonight
Come join the party, it's a celebration Anybody just won't do Let's get this started, no more hesitation Coz' everybody wants to party with you
Haven't I seen you somewhere before? You look familiar… You wanna' dance? …Yeah. I guess I just don't recognize you with your cloths on… (laughs) What are you waiting for?
Come join the party, it's a celebration Anybody just won't do Let's get this started, no more hesitation Coz' everybody wants to party with you X 2
Boy you've got it, it's a celebration Coz' anybody just won't do Let's get it started, no more hesitation Coz' everybody wants to party with you

^ I'm assuming from the 20 sec clip we've heard that these lyrics won't sound as stupid on record as they do on screen. They're pretty retarded. I guess it's all in the delivery and vibe. We'll see.
EDIT: After having listened to the dub version, the choruses sound really catchy, particularly toward the end. We'll have to wait and see what the verses sound like, and I hope that the album version is at least a little less Eurotrash than this mix, but I suspect this is just an extended dub version sans the verses. It's pretty catchy.

I can't say how or where and I do not have a copy so I can't share it, but I heard the full version of Madonna's new song tonight and it's an ANTHEM. It's an instant Madonna classic in the vein of "Into the Groove," "Music" and "Hung Up." Fans are going to eat it up with a spoon.

A “Celebration” Of Madonna Music - The Ultimate Greatest Hits Collection September 28th Release
July 22, 2009 - For Immediate Release (Burbank, California) Madonna, who has racked up a record 37 top 10 hits as well as seven No. 1 albums (including her last four) on the Billboard Pop Charts, has given her fans yet another opportunity to “celebrate” her musical achievements. Today, Warner Bros. Records officially confirmed the September 28th release of “CELEBRATION” – the ultimate compilation of Madonna songs. The songs on “Celebration” have all been remastered and selected by Madonna and her fans. They cover the expanse of the Material Girl’s extraordinary career of hits including “Everybody,” “Express Yourself,” “Vogue” and “4 Minutes.” “Celebration” will be available in a two-CD set as well as a single CD. There will also be a “Celebration” DVD released simultaneously which includes the video visionary’s best videos including several that have never before been available on DVD.
“Celebration,” the CD will also include two new songs that were recently recorded in New York City. The first single, also titled, “Celebration,” co-produced by Madonna and Paul Oakenfold, will be released August 3rd. A video for the single, which will be included on the “Celebration” DVD was just filmed in Milan, Italy and was directed by long time Madonna collaborator Jonas (“Ray of Light”) Akerlund. Several dance club remixes of “Celebration” are headed to the clubs on July 24th. The song will also be available on CD and vinyl maxi. Radio will receive the “Celebration” single on August 3rd.
The cover for “Celebration” was created by street pop artist “Mr. Brainwash” who is best known for “throwing modern cultural icons into a blender and turning it up to eleven.”
Madonna, a multi Grammy award winning singer, writer and producer has had over 12 No. 1 singles and has a record-smashing 39 No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Songs Chart – by far the most of any artist in the over 30 year history of the list.
Madonna's 'Celebration' Hits Collection To Feature Two New Songs
by Keith Caulfield, L.A. | July 23, 2009 7:27 EDT
Madonna will unleash the greatest hits album "Celebration" on Sept. 29 in the U.S.
The Warner Bros. collection will include hits from the Queen of Pop's entire career and boast two new songs. One of those, the title track, was recently recorded in New York and co-produced by Madonna and Paul Oakenfold. It will serve as the set's first single and is scheduled to hit radio airwaves on Aug. 3. Remixes of the tune will be serviced to dance club DJs tomorrow (July 24).
It is rumored that the effort's other new song is titled "Revolver" and is a collaboration with Lil Wayne. A demo version of the song -- without Madonna's vocals -- has been floating around YouTube since May.
While the tracklist for "Celebration" has yet to be announced, one can imagine a bevy of Madonna's Billboard Hot 100 hits will be included. On the Hot 100 chart, she has racked up a record 37 top 10 singles -- more than any other act in the tally's nearly 51-year history. Of those hits, 12 of them went all the way to No. 1.
In a press release, her label confirmed that "Celebration" will contain songs "remastered and selected by Madonna and her fans" including "Everybody," "Express Yourself," "Vogue" and "4 Minutes."
The album will be available in both single-disc and double-disc configurations and a DVD of the icon's music videos will also be issued simultaneously. It was unclear at press time if the DVD would be offered as a stand-alone product or come bundled in a CD/DVD package.
The press release announcing "Celebration" touts that the DVD is set to include some of Madonna's iconic video clips that have "never before been available on DVD." (Perhaps the too-hot-for-MTV "Justify My Love?")
"Celebration" is Madonna's last album owed to Warner Bros. Records. In 2007, she partnered with Live Nation for a long term, all-encompassing deal, which will include her future recorded music.
Madonna signed to the Warner Bros. label Sire in 1982 and released her first single, "Everybody," that year. Her eponymous debut album bowed in 1983 and carried with it her first Hot 100 hit -- "Holiday."
Since then has earned seven No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 chart, including her last four studio sets: 2008's "Hard Candy," 2005's "Confessions On a Dance Floor," 2003's "American Life" and 2000's "Music."
All told, every one of Madonna's 11 studio albums have reached the top 10 on the Billboard 200.
