Alison is said to be making another album with Robert Plant right now. (big smile)
Right now in my opinion, it is kind of early to tell who will make it in there for the Grammy awards next year.
I just pray that James has another shot at being in there again. (smiles)
God bless you and him and Alison and Robert always!!!

Carrie Underwood deserves to win a 4th consecutive Grammy for Best Female Country Vocal Performance. She's got 2 unbelievably powerful singles that are eligible -- "Just A Dream" and "I Know You Won't". Both are strong songs, and they're amazing vocal showcases for Carrie.
"Just A Dream" also deserves a Best Country Song nom.
Sugarland deserves nominations for Best Country Group & Best Country song for the soaring "Already Gone".
Lady Antebellum made a wise choice releasing "I Run To You", which is probably the best track on their album. I hope they get nommed for that too.

You and me both!

Taylor Swift deserves NOTHING.
I can totally picture her getting an Album of the Year and Song of the Year nomination, yet nothing at all in the Country fields.

If this is true, i really hope they get submitted into the duo/group categories, which they should have been in this year and last year, not collaboration categories. If you make an album together, you should not be considered in the collaboration categories, as it states "Best Pop/Country Collaboration With Vocals (For a collaborative performance, with vocals, by artists who do not normally perform together. Singles or Tracks only.)" which they don't but when you put out an album together, I feel it is not appropriate to be placed there.
Now that I think about it, I think that Alison may have more than 26 Grammy awards all together now. Every time that she has been given an Album of the Year award, is she given two awards, one for being the artist and one for being the album producer when she IS the producer of what is being named Album of the Year?
I think that she does get two awards because when the album named This Side from Nickel Creek was named Best Contemporary Folk album, Alison was given an award for being the producer of the album. (smiles)
God bless you and her always!!!
Holly
P.S. If she does get an additional award for being an album producer, how many Grammy awards will that bring her up to now? (big smile)
Five other albums that she has produced have been named Album of the Year at sometime or another, so would that bring her up to 31 Grammy awards all together now?
Another album that she produced was her album named Every Time You Say Goodbye. After it was released, it was named Best Bluegrass Recording. Would her being the producer of that album bring her up to 32 Grammy awards or was that award not given to the album producer too?
If any of this confuses any of y'all, I do apologize. (laughs)

No, its 26 awards.. you can go to the offical grammy site and search her wins. I understand your thinking though, years ago, they gave seperate grammys for the artist if they produced and recorded the album, track whatever, now-which it has been for a while, the person is just given one award. make sense?
Is there any word on what Sugarland's 3rd single will be? Hopefully it's "Love".
