i've really been missing shakira hardcore on the radio airwaves. so glad she's back and with an awesome track no loss. only part of the song i don't like is during the chorus where she howls like a wolf. it kind of creeps me out.
This track is going to have to grow on me. So far, I'm not really feeling it. I find Shakira songs are either hit or miss with me. "Hips Don't Lie" still makes me shudder to this day - I hate that song! lol.

I have to say I'm afraid I'm becoming addicted to Loba/She Wolf.Oh!I want to see the entire video now.I can't decide if I love the lyrics of the music more. Oh man I just heard "She Wolf" and it's HOT!! I love it! I hope it's a big hit. I can't believe Shakira's on a record howling like a wolf lol! Brilliant!
The video is hot. I wasn't feeling at first but I've come to embrace it's goofiness (the song as well). When I first heard the howling I thought WTF? But now I can't stop howling myself.
I said on the Official Video thread, this video is easily the worst video of the year...maybe EVER...
What the hell was this woman thinking? She's always had nice videos and some really great ones, how the F did this happen?
I have zero problems with the cage, maybe because everything else was so awful and this looked minimal....but the cage makes sense, but everything else the dancing, the wolf walking around, the club scenes that look like Hung Up or Me Against the Music...
Whatever you might think of the first half is nothing when you compare it to the dancing in the last 30 seconds, the hair, the outfit, it's awful and humiliating...
She's she's always danced like this, but not that much and not dressed like that.
Horrible video. And she has to know how bad it is.
And people that don't speak spanish don't even know how bad they got it, the song in spanish is fun and it's classic Shakira, the lyrics in english are just ridiculous and they look as if they came directly from one of those internet translators...it's so incoherent that even the bridge had to be left out of the English version...
I was loving the song so much, now I can't forget this awful video...
If it's a silly song (as it's meant to be) then why do people dont expect a silly video?
It's just made to make Shakira look hot as hell (and it does, that body, those movements, the poses! )
I don't know what you expect from an uptempo song about her being a hot girl and wanting to get laid, do you want a video directed by Woody Allen with an Academy Award worthy plot?

as for Shakira looking like a whore? please, everybody looks like a whore these days, I don't see why people are so shocked, what's the difference between this and La Tortura?
But the video has a low quality feel that doesn't help and well again, the final moments are just stupid and so unlike her.
And the song is just bad in english, in spanish is a lot of fun and classic Shakira.

Gotta say, in "La Tortura" she's being sexual, but in a more natural way, you can feel the sexy comes from her and her alone.
In "She Wolf", she's over produced, so all her sexyness is diminished by the fact that the video tries so hard to tell us that she`s hot when fact is we already know. Blunt sexuality is good when done like some normal, not just throwing around another skanky girl.
But, inspite verything I said, I like the cages part, I admit, lol. I just find that, overall, she doesn`t need to that, she`s sexy enough being herself, no need to excess like she does throughout the video.

I agree 100% with you on this. I fell in love with the Spanish version the moment i heard it. But when the English version came out I was very disappointed, I have no idea what it is but something was lost through the translation.

Love the song in Spanish, FRIGGIN HATE IT IN ENGLISH. The English lyrics are just atrocious.
Possibly the worst lyrics I've heard since Rihanna's "Take A Bow".
